It’s nice to take a stroll on their boardwalk. Their are a few nicely places restaurants where you can stop and have a drink or enjoy a meal. Off the boardwalk but on the beach there are a few volleyball nets where you can join in on a game. Bring a chair and enjoy the waves and scenery. It’s very relaxing. Enjoy

Sugar Sand Park features the Community Center, which houses the Children's Science Explorium and the Willow Theatre; and the Field House, which features an indoor gymnasium. Developed by the Greater Boca Raton Beach & Park District and operated by the City of Boca Raton, this 132-acre park continues its commitment to enhance the role of recreation and culture for residents and visitors alike. Sugar Sand Park is open 365 days a year - the Community Center and Children's Science Explorium are closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day. Built to American Society for Testing & Materials standards, the Science Playground is strong and safe, with a soft, impact-attenuating ground surface. This surface is also the key to the wayfinding feature, allowing parents and children to pinpoint their exact location within the playground through identifying markings. The inclusive playground features new swings, slides, and an expanded climbing structure that allows for greater access to people of all ages and abilities, and greater visibility for parents and children alike. The updated interactive water feature showcases a variety of sea creatures, and a new train station-themed toddler play area has been added.
I did sty in Boca for just 5 days and my little one took me to this place 3 out the 5 days. The Explorium... is amazing with all the thing they have to explore and tried... The Playground is soo nice you can expend the whole day there... THIS IS A MUST if you visit Boca

Walk through tropical, flowering gardens in six giant screened aviaries filled with twenty thousand LIVE exotic butterflies and the world's most amazing birds. Hand feed the small parrots in the Lorikeet Encounter! Botanical Gardens, Macaw Landing, Butterfly Museum, Live Bug Zoo, outdoor cafes, gift shop and garden center. This is the perfect adventure for the whole family! Gift Shop and Garden Center are open to the public!
Not only does Butterfly World have a very good collection of butterflies it also has a substantial bird aviary,a good collection of flowering plants and a bug zoo . The butterfly house and bird aviary are in separate buildings and are attractions by themselves. The flowering plant collection and bug zoo are just added bonuses. There is the mandatory gift shop which has a nice selection and a plant nursery with a variety of items for sale.
It is worth the trip to Coconut Creek just off the Florida Turnpike.

We can never pass by a fishing pier without making quick stop and we did that today at Deerfield Beach it only costs $1 so it was definitely worth it. You can get a wristband and come back over and over again on the same day. It did sustaine
some damage at the end from last year's hurricane but most of it is it accessible and offers great views of the shoreline.

This 20 acre coastal preserve is a destination you don’t want to miss! Gumbo Limbo Nature Center is surrounded by a rare remnant of tropical hardwood hammock, located on a barrier island in Boca Raton. Take a stroll through the butterfly garden, where many species of wild butterflies can be seen year-round. Walk the Ashley Trail and relax in the authentic Chiki overlooking the Intracoastal. A variety of native fish, sharks, and other marine animals reside in marine aquariums. Visit the Sea Turtle Rehabilitation Facility to learn about our sea turtle patients. Indoor displays feature wildlife indigenous to South Florida and a series of stained glass windows depicting the coastal island as it may have appeared in the 1500s. Florida Atlantic University has an onsite marine biology laboratory with a gallery for viewing research projects conducted by university scientists. Purchase imaginative and environmentally friendly gifts from our nature-themed gift shop. Please note picnicking is not permitted.
Very interesting , a guided tour of the butterfly garden and a visit to see the turtles recovering from various injuries is only part of this wonderful place. There are aquariums with all sorts of fish to see and a great gift store that helps support this free nature centre.

Nice beach. Hard to find parking. We parked across the street for $17.00 - very expensive. Beach chair rentals are $10. an hour. I think there are cheaper places to "beach" but it was pleasant.

This is a lovely space but has nothing of any interest. A department store that has twice the number of staff as customers (but the staff are so busy talking with each other that they neglect the few customers in the store). Grossly over priced shops selling quasi antiques and “collectibles” and restaurants each trying to be more pretentious than the last (and neither offering an eating experience remotely worth the price).

One of south Florida’s top luxury shopping destinations, Town Center at Boca Raton features an outstanding mix of upscale and elite specialty shops along with your favorite Mall stores in an indoor environment. The impressive lineup of six department stores – Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom, Macy’s, Bloomingdale’s and Sears – draws shoppers throughout Palm Beach and Broward Counties. Among the 220 stores at Town Center, you will find The Apple Store, Tiffany & Co, Louis Vuitton, Tory Burch, Lilly Pulitzer and many more. Parking options are more than ample, including three parking decks and valet stations. Conveniently located off I-95 and Glades Road, you’ll find just what you need and more. So from the entire team at Town Center at Boca Raton, we hope that you will visit us soon.
This upscale venue has something for everyone on your holiday shopping list...even a Tesla...all in one central Boca Raton location. While the internet has made shopping as simple as a click, there is still something special about experiencing the sights, sounds, and energy of people together, especially this time of year. The diversity of both shoppers and stores is marvelous. And when you just can’t carry any more packages, or your trunk is full, take a break and relax at one of the nice restaurants on site or grab a quick bite at the food court. And if shopping just isn’t your thing, but someone made you tag along, grab a chair in the one of the several concourses, and just sit back and people watch. Whether a local or seasonal resident, or just visiting, Town Center is experiential and offers something for everyone.
