Our family usually tries a horse ride on our vacations but due to COVID-19, we staycationed instead. We found this location and did a trail ride. We had an 8 and 7 year old with us. The 7 year old had never ridden before and had a blast.

Wonderful spot. Well worth the drive on dirt road which, by the way, had less pot holes than some main roads. Get really close to salmon and sea trout jumping up the waterfall. Great experience.

Sand grooming machine removed any debris. Sand is a bit more coarse than fine sand, but it is golden brown and very clean. Lots of wind on the day we were there. Shallow bay so good for kids and families. BBQ pits. Little food truck with grill and chill. Picnic benches. Portable washrooms. Beachball net. Grassy area for kids. Enjoyable day.
Our Bark Park offers a safe and comfortable stop for your furry family members. After all, they deserve a pit stop along the road as much as the rest of us do!
