Tessel island, the Dutch island is one of the best in the Netherlands. We visited this island in September month and it was quite warm outside. A perfect place for all ages, to play, enjoy and have fun with family and friends. Sea is not always that warm in the summer, but don't expect much from Dutch summer. It was so windy and sun was shining. Nice for sunbathing and testing the salty water of North Sea. Lots of activities including Skydiving if you dare to jump above the North Sea. A perfect destination for all time.

Great views of a dreamy landscape of ocean and dunes extending into the distance at a low cost. Certainly can be windy, but that's part of the fun. Take your camera and go!

My girlfriend brought me here as a surprise: I jump regularly but she never has. She finally decided to do it and wanted to jump somewhere unique. The DZ was very busy (we went on a Sunday) so you'll probably need to book in advance. Everyone was very friendly, her tandem instructor was lively and funny as you would hope for. The videos/pictures she had done were great quality. There was an 8 way team practising and a few other fun jumpers too, so not one of those tourist DZs that mainly does tandems and offers little to fun jumpers.
The view from up top was pretty stunning. All in all a great experience and I'd recommend the DZ to first timers and experienced jumpers alike.

This is the nerve centre for bird news on Texel, as well as being a small museum of bird skins and store for all things ornithological. The proprietors are friendly and welcoming. Free coffee and cookies are part of this special hospitality. The garden always has a nice selection of birds on the feeders and there is a chance of all sorts of good birds flying over.

De slufter is een geweldig natuurgebied in Texel. Heerlijk om door de duinen en het zand te trekken. Ook een prachtige begroeing met grassen.

the new 9 holes are interesting and certainly a further attraction on this already interesting seaside course. Small, undulating greens in the " Colt-style". Certainly not easy when the wind is blowing. The disadvantage of a public course on an vacation island is that the capability of the guest is not checked. You may find a couple of very bad players in front of you, alas.
Worth a visit.

In July 2017, the spectacular, new swimming pool at Holiday Park De Krim on Texel opened its doors. It has an in- and outdoor swimming pool with various exciting attractions. There are three water slides and a rapid slide. Especially for little ones, there is an indoor, Texel-themed spray park. So from now, there is even more water fun to be had on Texel!

this is a indoor swimming pool and water park suitable for families with kids. there is also one outdoor pool. water temperature is moderate. there are four slides for kids and adults.
the pool does not have any towel and you should bring your own. but there is hair dryer available.
the place is nice designed and comfortable.

The main exhibit is about the uprising of Georgian soldiers during WWII. The Germans had drafted some prisoners of war into fighting on their side. Eventually, these POWs rebelled against the Germans and there was a brief series of battles before the Germans were able to put down the rebellion. The people of Texel have a lot of respect for these Georgians, and this museum is mostly about this event. If you are a history buff, you will find this very interesting.

When you're celebrating you're holiday on the island of Texel make sure you save one day to visit Vlieland.
This ferry is the way to go there. The lovely crew will pick you up at the beach of the Cocksdorp.
Don't forget to drink a "Jutter" while aboard.

Ik moeste met mijn dochter mee van 7. De andere 2 kinderen van 8 en 9 konden alleen wel ronde ook al stond er dat er tot 12 jaar begeleiding mee moest.
Het was leuk, ook al waren er wel een paar onderdelen wel rijp voor onderhoudt zoals een klimnet.
Je kan het parcours afleggen in 4 onderdelen waar men iedere keer bijna een half uur over doet.
