The Philippine Eagle Center (PEC) is an 8.4-hectare area located at the foothills of Mt. Apo in Malagos, Baguio District, Davao City and situated within the Malagos Watershed. The Philippine Eagle Center primarily operates as a conservation breeding facility for the critically endangered Philippine Eagle and other birds of prey. The Philippine Eagle Foundation (PEF) is a private non-stock, non-profit organization. We at the PEF work towards giving the critically endangered Philippine Eagle a fighting chance to survive and thrive in its natural territory. Therefore, we are also committed to the preservation of the eagle’s rainforest habitat and the biodiversity it represents.
The place where they breed and take phil. Eagles which are endangered to refuge. It is far from the city proper which is a good place so that it is quiet. You could see them face-front and near. They are really amazing raptors. There are other animals that are also kept in this place such as owls and other domesticated possible and endangered species. A self walk tour is already sufficient to learn from this place. If you get the chance to drop by here. Please follow their rules and buy their stuff to support this foundation.

Nice place to visit when you need to relax from the hustle and bustle of city living. Nature tripping and good place to meditate as well. You really need to wear comfortable footwear since you'll be walking most of the time. Nice view, there are different varieties of plants and flowers too. They also have a cafeteria and souvenir shop to buy your pasalubong.

Visit the new temporary location and get amazed by how rich Mindanao culture and heritage is. Get the guided tour and ask for Sir Randy. He is very knowledgeable and informative. I am looking forward to the new 5 storey building that is being constructed in cooperation with the National Museum. I am sure that the museum will be so huge and beautiful! This is a must visit when you go to Davao. Admission is free.

Abreeza Mall is the first Ayala Mall in Mindanao, with over 300 stores which include a wide array of retail choices with popular local and foreign fashion concepts, brands opening their first stores in Davao, carefully handpicked dining options and homegrown favorites. Abreeza Mall showcases relaxed and contemporary architecture blended with signature open spaces and verdant landscaping. Inspired by the rich culture of Davao, the mall makes creative use of color, accenting classic neutral tones. It provides the Davao community with a truly unique and rewarding experience in shopping, dining and entertainment.
One of my favorite malls in Davao City. It's nice for Instagram, a lot of choices when it comes to food and a good place also to shop.

First off, the puto and sikwati is really good. You can buy fresh veggies at a very good price. Strawberries were not so good during our visit. Very small size maybe not the best season to buy them. The fruit jams and the salad dressing is so good. Pineapple based dressing was the best ive tasted. we might go back just for it. Oh yeah, kids enjoyed the soft ice cream and the horseback riding.

...This appealing spectacle, Davao's night market, has 500 vendors, drawing a throng of thousands of local people and tourists every evening. This market, which begins by the Marco Polo Hotel, starts at 6 PM every evening. ...This great bizarre has two sections. First there are a host of mostly barbecue stands, selling meat and fish. cooked as you wait, and, second, a section of hundreds of small shops and open-air vendors, all arranged in a single row, vendors to the left and the right of the path. ...The crowd in every part shows the great appeal of this night market, ...1) The section of shops of merchandise. ...Articles of many sorts are sold by hundreds of small shops, including larger items such as shoes and sandals, bedding and clothing of all sorts, some clothes hung on long racks, and including smaller items such as combs, jewelry, perfume, and sundry other items. I bought an "I love Davao" refrigerator magnet for 35 pesos in a shop mostly selling many refrigerator magnets. ...Hopefully, it has what you want. ...Low overhead keeps prices down. ...I walked along this way of hundreds of shops, seemingly endlessly, until I came to the end because I wanted to give a truthful review of the night market for tripadvisor. ...Davao's Night Market was started by the city government in 2013 and has been getting bigger over the years. ...2) The section of mostly food (mostly barbecue) stands.. ...A huge crowd, of couples, friends, and family groups, come to eat barbecue food, cooked freshly as they wait, along with other foods, including fruit, lumpia, rice of course, and other foods as well. There is also a very popular ice cream vendor, with a long line of customers. ...My wife and I walked along the rows of many stands, ranged to the left and the right of the path, as we decided what to eat from the array of meat and fish, much on skewers, offered. We ate meals of tilapia, bangus, sausage and pork that we picked from the array of foods offered, eating at the tables and chairs provided by the stands. (I liked the skewered pork best.) To be honest, my wife found the tilapia at one stand too undercooked to her taste. (Of course, you could ask them to cook it some more) The especially great crowd at these barbecue stands show the great general satisfaction of the people who ate there.
