We did the Oceanside ride and it was fantastic! The guide was very knowledgeable and we saw dolphins, alligators and the most beautiful egrets. I would highly recommend it!

Really neat metal art. Free to visit. Appeared reasonably priced (for art). If we had a beach house we would have bought something for it.

I brought my family of 4 to Daufuskie specifically to learn about Gullah history and the island. We were fortunate enough to be able to spend four nights in a restored oyster cottage and the highlight of our trip was meeting Ms. Sallie Ann on her historical tour. I wish that we could have spent a lot more time with her. We took the bus tour to the historic locations. We didn't go inside the buildings since they are closed due to Covid, but we got to hear first hand the real life history with our guide! We loved visiting the Gullah Cemetery and the First African Baptist Church. Sallie Ann also took us to visit her family homestead. On our next visit I would love to hear more about the plants growing around her family's home, and what they used for cooking and medicine while growing up - everything she said was so fascinating! My two kids ages 13 and 9 listened to every word Sallie Ann had to say, and we all talk about how much we enjoyed this tour. We are very blessed to have had such a wonderful experience learning about Daufuskie.

We were not able to tour the facility nor taste samples due to COVID restrictions. We had a wonderful time here and purchased vodka and a blueberry/lavendar flavored vodka. Delish! Nice shirts and gift items. Oh, and my running theme for our April 2021 Daufuskie Island trip is availability of restrooms. This place had nice public restrooms. Sure made staying at the location for awhile much nicer! Haha.
