Home to the World's Largest Rocking Chair on Historic Route 66. Stop in and try our Fresh made from scratch in the kettle Fudge and over 80 flavors of gourmet popcorn!
While on a solo motorcycle ride, I was exploring the stretch of Route 66 from Cuba to the freeway and saw this gigantic rocking chair, and yes, it is kitsch, but, what a photo op! While I was taking a few pics, a nice lady came out and volunteered to take my pic with my bike, which I was happy to oblige. I went inside the store to cool off and they had many interesting Route 66 souvenirs. What was impressive is they had a cooler full of 250-300 root beers from different bottlers if I recall correctly! I bought 3 bottle of....Route 66 Root Beers, of course! This is a cool place with a really pretty mural on the side for pics as well. I would stop here again.

My husband and I travel on Hwy. 44 twice a year and make Cuba our stopping place for a meal. We particularly enjoy seeing the murals and this trip we took a walk around the town to see them up close. The town has done a great job of preserving their history in beautiful artwork painted on their buildings. It's not far from the highway and definitely worth a look and a chance to stretch your legs!
