We were in Croydon for the weekend to attend a family funeral and stayed in a hotel opposite here. On Sunday our last day we were advised there was an open day at this museum and it's a very interesting place to visit, it most certainly was, we had an excellent guided tour with Graeme and all very interesting especially hearing about the first long distance flights. This place is great for learning about aviation and early air travel.Highly recommended.

Had a lovely evening (another one) at The Ludoquist last night with a friend where we managed to play 5 games, a couple of beers and pizza (which was piping hot and delicious) in a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The staff are always lovely whether they are just taking your order at the counter or if you are asking for game recommendations or help with a game. I've never had a bad evening there and will certainly be returning again very soon. It's probably my favourite place to go out to nowadays and I hope to be able to make more regular trips there in the coming months, whether it's for an organised gaming evening such as the Light Wargaming that they put on or just meeting up with some friends. For me it is definitely the best place in Croydon.

An Escape Room is an hour-long adventure with your friends, your family or perhaps your work-mates. It’s a bit like the Crystal Maze from TV, or a real-life version of an online Room Escape game. You play as a team and have to find clues, solve puzzles, and complete challenges to finish your mission in 60 minutes!
This was my first visit to an escape room and it defo won't be my last. 6 of us thoroughly enjoyed the different tasks that were needed to be completed within this record shop in order to escape. There really was something for everyone and we all came out having had a great laugh and a lot of fun. We managed to escape with 2 minutes to spare!

Restored almost to working condition Windmill.Souvenirs and refreshments available. For Open Days and further information please see our website.Open on Mills Day in May and Open House/City London in September see web site for details, and on the 1st Sunday of the month from June to October, all Open Days 12-00- 17-00pm with last tour at 4pm ,tours last about a hour.
Do go on one of their open days. It is well worth a visit. Had a really good tour with a knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide - it took 90 minutes. You have an introduction outside then the tour inside starts at the top floor and you work your way down. Stairs are steep and narrow but doable for most people. Some great views from the top floor. Throughout the mill are meccano working models of different aspects of the mill. Outside is a small information centre and cafe. I really think they should charge for the tours!
