I've been to Reggia di Colorno with my girlfriend after lunch. We were amazed because we wouldn't have imagined that there is a place like Versailles in Italy! The trip is really interesting and the guides are all well-prepared. It's a pity that furniture and paintings have been moved from the former Italian kings to other places like Quirinale in Rome, Palazzo Pitti in Florence and Reggia di Venaria in Turin. But the building is worth - visiting and the garden is impressive. The ticket is 6 € though.
