We had an absolutely delightful time last weekend on the sunset cruise. The pilot gave us a smooth ride; the director had some anecdotal information about the area as we cruised, and the bartender was attentive, efficient and pleasant. The director tends towards a "partying" atmosphere, but was able to adapt to our more peaceful temperments. The Bay Breeze has made this cruise (and their other offerings) easily affordable to couples and families, as well as clubs, churches and other organizations. We will definitely do this again!!

It’s not in the dictionary, but if it was, Go Ape would be described as a ‘tree top adventure’.That means we build giant obstacle courses up in the trees using ladders, walkways, bridges and tunnels made of wood, rope and super-strong wire, and top it all off with the world's best zip lines. We then equip people with harnesses, pulleys and carabiners, give them a 30 minute safety briefing and training and let them loose into the forest canopy, free to swing through the trees. Of course, instructors are always on hand, regularly patrolling the forests (not in monkey suits unfortunately!)The result is spectacular. The Go Ape experience gets the adrenalin pumping, gets people out of their comfort zones and above all (no pun intended), it’s just great fun.
Took the family to celebrate my sons 14th birthday. We all did the main tree top obstacle course and zip lines. Our group of six ranged from 14 to 48. The course was challenging enough but still fun for everyone. The zip lines and Tarzan swings where the highlight of the day for our group. The instructors give you plenty of hands on training before turning you loose in the trees. The course could take a few hours depending on your abilities and those ahead of you! The park provides a great place to bring a picnic and make a day of it. There are walking trails and a pond at the state park. The park will charge an entrance fee to access go ape with in the park. Well worth the small fee.

Born out of our love of fine wines and cheeses, Chateau Bu-De vineyard & winery has become the premiere location for fine wines. After traveling the world and sampling different wines, we decided to make our way back to the US and craft the finest wines right here on the Eastern shore of Maryland. Our biggest challenge was finding perfect, high-quality grapes for world class wines. Hence, our vineyard was established. We are dedicated to offering only the finest wines. We have also taken great care in assembling a fabulous team of winemaker's, vintners and employees. Our family-owned & women operated vineyard & winery is located on 440 acres a top the Bohemia River & Scenic Byway 213 in Chesapeake City, Maryland. The original site of Augustine Herrman's historical Bohemia Manor Farm. Augustine Herrman was the founder of Bohemia Manor and the first Lord of the manor.
After lunch in Chesapeake City we ventured to Chateau Bu-De for the wine tasting. We opted to purchase a carafe of the sangria - fruity with peach notes. The winery offers scenic views with seating outside and inside. Very helpful and friendly staff.

For a number of years (along RT#213 South from Elkton to Chesapeake city, MD.) is a unique store that sells fishing licenses, bait of all kinds, and a lot of various fish lore items. The store, for a long time, operated by Greg Kaufman (and excellent woodwork finisher in his own right) with the help of his father.
If unique is what you seek, you would do well to pull in and look around at what is there. Yes, as I said earlier, you can get fishing licenses; however, you can get a lot more-if only a great experience. Drop in if you are going on RT#213 (A MD. Scenic By-Way Route) to Chesapeake City, Galena, Chestertown, Rock Hall, etc. You will not regret the time spent..

I need to preface this review that I'm in the middle of a 30 day multi state camping trip. Booked the yurt months ago based on reviews. Expected something similar to a camper cabin. As I was spending the day in Philadelphia I called to see what needed to be done as would be arriving late. Guy on phone was nice. Gave me code to open the door and if I had any problems see camp host in site 1 or 2. Upon arriving to park around 8p had little issue finding the yurt in the dark. At night can't really see the post with Y1 on it as 2 other poles in the way. No "path/trail" to deck. There was one for yurt 02. I was unable to get the door code to work so went to see camp host on right side. He told me to do door code and then hit #, but be careful that door automatically lockes when door shuts. Went back. Still unable to get door to work. Digital lock very worn and weathered. Again went to host who then makes snide comment "1st time in 3 years someone couldn't get door open". He use code and then turn and pulled hard on door to get it to open. After my friend and I said apologized and said thank you. He makes another snide comment about topping of his already 10 hour day. Once inside I was completely grossed out. Was dirty/nasty. Didn't even shut the door. Bugs crawling all over beds, walls, floors. 1 fell on me from ceiling. No broom to sweep them out. With mattress covers dirty and ripped who knows what was in the matress itself. I would have rather set up my tent in the dark. So grossed out I bugged out. Upon leave door did NOT autonatically lock. Kinda pissed. Waste of my money and too late as after 9p to find another campground. Had to get hotel.

If you want an introduction to the Chesapeake and Delaware Canal, this is the place. The museum is tiny, and was unattended when we visited. There were two videos on the canal, and a lot of small exhibits. On the wall there was a monitor listing current shipping traffic, and we left when we saw a ship was coming up the canal. A visit here won't take long, but stop anyway. You'll learn a thing or two.

First season, very clean and perfect condition...take an hour cruise on the C&D canal...if you are lucky you will see a freighter or other commercial vessel go through. Mostly recreational vehicles this 4th of July holiday but sitting in the shade with a nice breeze makes for a perfect adventure. Be sure to eat at the newly renovated Chesapeake Inn the next Dock over before or after your cruise. Take advantage of their $4 valet parking at the Inn and do both! Neat historic town so enjoy! No hassle activity.

The Captain and his wife are very knowledgeable about the Upper Chesapeake Bay and the area surrounding the Chesapeake and Delaware Canal. We had a delightful time and are planning to go back again soon!

We visited here during the 2014 Mid Atlantic Open tournament. The weekend was rainy and muddy. The staff went above and beyond to get everyone parked. It was chaos but nobody ever stopped smiling. Did people get stuck? Sure did! If you were stuck they had equipment that drove around pulling people out and never charged a cent. Did we get dirty? Yep! Thats all part of paintball anyway. Was it a great weekend of games? Indeed! Despite the issues with parking, everything else was great. Catered food, vendors and all levels of game play made a fun weekend. OXCC is to be commended.

Find movie times, online tickets and directions to Westown Movies in Middletown, DE. Find everything you need for your local Delaware theater.
Visited here recently to see the new Star Wars movie with my teenagers. We saw it in the big theatre where you reserve your seats when you purchase the tickets online. It was great knowing we had our seats saved before we arrived. Seats are very comfortable. The snack bar is average but adequate. You can get alcoholic beverages from a lobby bar. Facilities are clean and parking is easy. You can buy your movie candy at Walmart before you arrive. It is right next to Westown Movies. They have an app too.
