Outstanding View!!! Although it is off-season and there where no whales, the view alone is worth the coins it cost to walk out onto the boardwalk and cliff viewing decks!!! A must see if you are traveling past and will definitely will return in whale season.

With many regional towns on Australia’s coastline, the focus of the township can be the local jetty. The Ceduna jetty fits this generalisation. Originally built in 1902 on Murat Bay, the 368 metre screw pile jetty is a meeting place of like-minded fishermen and those enjoying a gentle stroll of an evening whilst experiencing a brilliant sunset. There is a good amount of street car parking along O’Loughlin Tce and McKenzie St. Under the Norfolk Island Pines, lawned areas are adjacent to the jetty with several seating areas provided. Although the sand areas on the beach are limited, a stroll along the beach and then the jetty against the backdrop of a gorgeous sunset was worth the relaxation time. Whilst enjoying the atmosphere, there was a steady stream of fishermen, including several family groups, heading out to try their skills. For either fishing or, as in my case, just to relax the Ceduna jetty of an evening is a place to experience. Please note photos were taken over two evenings. Return? Most definitely and hopefully to experience more of the beauty of a Ceduna sunset.

We've visited a few country town museums - they're usually little gems. But Ceduna's museum stands out way ahead of the crowd. Don't stint yourself on time there's so much to see. Fantastic displays of anything you can imagine from life in the past. Run by friendly volunteers, you won't be disappointed if you visit.

We started early so that we could complete the track in the one day only because we were time poor, would advise to take at least a day or two as there are great camping areas. There is plenty of track information available and why it was build by Goog and his son. This has to be a bucket list item not a hard track and worthwhile to do.

Arts Ceduna is the Premier Aboriginal Art Centre on the Eyre Peninsula - South Australia. We sell artwork on behalf of at least 136 artists in the Far West region of South Australia. Arts Ceduna opened its doors in July 2001 and the development of this business has been a great achievement for the Aboriginal community in Ceduna and the Far West.
There is an obvious sense of passion and pride in this art centre. It has amazing work from artists telling stories of occupation, dreaming and culture. If you want to learn about the country you are visiting and gain an appreciation and understanding for indigenous culture or you wanting to buy original quality art this is a must visit

An excellent seaside walk, with pleasant surprises for the seekers. Beautiful views, well laid out and maintained. Take water and a hat, and allow time to sit at Pinky Point where shade is provided by a small pavilion. I'm doing it again tomorrow.
