Although relatively simple and stately inside, the Cathedral of Stone comes alive at night with a recorded concert of fine music, narration, and even a compliment for the visiting traveler. Exterior lights illuminate the church as the musical score continues, changing colorations and styles as the program progresses. Completely delightful, and an appropriate tribute to our Lord.

Going to Black Lake go to the Swans pedal boats on the lake... It's very romantic and the views are gorgeous, specially the blue flowers called "hortensias"... There are some little stores with very interesting things to buy as souvenirs... And, yes, there are clean restrooms for free... Black Lake is a must go...

This place offers a beautiful waterfall view, as well as natural garden sections. You can buy local artesanal souvenirs, as well as find some cafeterias in different sections of the park.
For people inclined to natural sight seeing, this is surely a good option while visiting Gramado.

There is instalation of apostoles outside and it looks stunning even at night! The ground in front of the church has been turned into mosaic glass for this Xmas season. It looks really impressive, never seen anything like that. A Fountain of eternal love is just on the right of the church and it's pretty cute too.

Very beautiful place transformed into a structured park many years ago. In the past, long time ago, I even camped there!

Very impressive 1:24 scale mini world! Perfectly done and maintained. This is the second time I've taken my kids, and is amazing. At very top, there is a playground, simple but very enjoyed by my kids. One of must see places in Gramado.

Parque Ecologico com 4 cachoeiras. Trilhas autoguiadas, mirantes e pontes. Restaurante com atendimento p/almoco aos sabados, domingos e feriados. Programa educativo Loboguara p/escolas e grupos de interesse.
Thanks to the Sperry family, which also lives inside the park, a big part of untouched woods, rivers and Waterfalls are being preserved, in an area where preserving is still not so common.
Not too difficult trails put you directly inside nature, forgetting shops and restaurants in Gramado and Canela. The trails are well kept, and with signs explaining about the local flora. If you are lucky, it is also possible to see monkeys and other animals.
There is also a special restaurant inside the woods, Berga Motta, open only on weekends.
The road to the valley is also beautiful, but unpaved and a little bit steep in some places.
Simply paradise!!

The Rua Coberta is a great option to experience while visiting Gramado. Many options (Bars, Coffee Shops, Restaurants, Bakery, Etc.) all together inside a covered area. (Rua Coberta means "Covered Route")
I tried the Caracol place which was very nice, mostly serving Ice Cream, Desserts, Fondue, Drinks, Etc.
This is certainly a must place while visiting Gramado's down town.

The park has a great landscape, and the belvederes are very accessible (2 min easy walk). Consider taking kids or elderly family members. There is a small zip line for children. The staff is very pleasant. You can take some time for exploring the trails, 4 h must be enough. The road is not paved, but is in good condition.
