Make sure to dress super warm or you won’t make it the whole two hours of your pass! It was 8 degrees when we were there on 12/28. I made it about an hour then watched Husband and 13yr old from the car. People were skiing as well.
Plenty of tube lanes and both sides had conveyor belts to take you up.
I don’t know how people put in reviews that tubes went into the parking lot. There are mats at the end of the lanes to stop you, along with a huge hill to block you. I didn’t see anyone going past where the lane ends. Most stopped on the first set of mays. Granted there were some smaller kids/toddlers sliding on the hill blocking the parking but that was it. They didn’t get on the hill from the tube lane, they were playing on the hill I’m guessing because it wasn’t as big and scary.
Staff at the top will help push you if you need it. Can go down on belly and in groups. We held each others ropes and went in a group of 3 a few times. Goes pretty fast, but we are from TX and have not done this before, so I’d say fast for the newbies.
*wish we would of bought goggles for our eyes. The RR have lockers like at the water park for you to put items in.

Located on the shore of Lake Winnebago, this park includes a lighthouse, small amusement park and a petting zoo.
This is a beautiful park with a lighthouse, a small train for kids, a carousel and numerous gorgeous bridges. Granted, we were here on a perfect day in the fall but unless you were in a downpour, I can't imagine that you wouldn't have fun and take dozens of pictures.

Horicon Marsh -- with 33,000 acres of wetland -- is reportedly the largest freshwater marsh in the continental U.S.). The Horicon National Wildlife Refuge comprises the northern two-thirds, while the state of Wisconsin DNR manages the southern third. Both operate visitor centers. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has a simple visitors' center on the eastern side of the refuge, and the Wisconsin DNR has a larger center and "Explorium" a bit further south on the southeastern edge of the marsh. There is a 3-mile auto-tour on the northwestern edge of the marsh, making it easy for those less willing to hike. There's also have a nice new floating boardwalk that winds out across a part of the marsh, starting from a parking area along the auto tour route.
The best areas for viewing birds, however, seem to be right along Highway 49, which (unfortunately for the wildlife) cuts across the northern edge of the marsh. Even though it's a very busy highway, we were able to see literally thousands of sandhill cranes and geese, not to mention uncountable numbers of ducks and other waterfowl.
Good to check carefully the arrival of migrating birds to hit a time of peak numbers, but would probably make for a pleasant visit anytime of the year.

If you already know what you want, this place does have good cheese, but the service is not so good.
Employees - older woman, younger girl were too busy socializing to help us.
There was a plate of cheese samples which had been sitting out that were somewhat melted.
The girl had no idea what was in there because she didn't put it out.

Very relaxing place to see animals and get some fresh air. Are able to feed the animals and see all kinds of wildlife.

The Camelot hosted our wedding reception and they exceeded our expectations! The Camelot is beautiful, the staff is exceptional and the food was absolutely incredible! We received nothing but rave reviews about them. Kay the GM was awesome to work with, very detailed to ensure everything went smoothly. Keith was the bartender in the main bar and was extremely attentive and accommodating to all of our guests. Excellent place for a reception.

On several of the "cooler" trails the state has allowed some significant cutting. Parnell Loop and Butler Lake are seeing some significant foresting. These forests won't look the same for many years. I'm sure that other areas will also be seeing some cutting. I've heard the explanations of park staff and I wish I could say I believed that all this cutting was in the best interest of the forest. DON"T BE SUPRISED if your favorite trail no longer looks the same.

If you're traveling through Theresa, I highly recommend that you stop at Widmer's. What a great place. When we stepped in the door we could see cheese being made, vats, cheese makers, all in full view! It reminded me of the numerous cheese places around my hometown, and as kids just stopped by to visit.
In addition to their own cheeses, they do sell cheese from other vendors, but we definitely wanted to buy their cheese. We decided on Wisconsin Lager Kase Brick and a brick cheese spread. The Lager Kase Brick is simply fantastic and you can certainly last a hint of the lager. I highly recommend it. And the cheese spread is super yummy too. Next time that we travel through Theresa, we will make a point to stop there and purchase more of their tasty cheese.

While Solu is one of Wisconsin's newer winery's it is truly growing into one of its' finest. Since opening the owners of this place continues to improve on the customer experience. The wine selection keeps growing along with a gift shop that always has something new. The outdoor patio is perfect for sitting outside enjoying a fine glass of wine with friends along with wonderful musical entertainment. If you haven't been to Solu in the past month it is time for another visit. Staff is great the drive is quick and the wine is not bad either. Ps if you don't like wine the Mead is really good also.

The MWA houses the state's premier collection of Wisconsin art. It is also home to an unrivaled collection by Milwaukee-born Carl von Marr.Exhibiting historic and contemporary Wisconsin Art.
Even on a cloudy day, this museum stands out for its unique architecture and beautifully displayed art. Your $12 admission is a one year membership. The permanent collection is awe inspiring and the current exhibitions "Romano Johnson: Glitterati" and "Gerit Grimm's Fairytales" are most intriguing. The first large glittery portraits the second intricate clay pieces - both engaging. There's plenty of parking and a lovely gift shop to boot. We'll definitely return.
