I will just start by saying that you NEED to check out Morgan’s Outdoor Adventures! My family and I went last week (early September) and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We were greeted by Gary, who was very friendly and knowledgeable. He walked us through the check-in process and thoroughly explained the social distancing precautions in place due to COVID-19. We felt very safe throughout the entire process. Check in was a breeze, everyone was practicing social distancing, and we were on the river in a timely manner. We chose to do the tubing trip and it was SO fun. Our group included 6 adults, ages 22 - 63, and everyone loved it. We saw people of all ages, including children, while on the river and everyone was enjoying themselves. The water was beautifully clear and the temperature was refreshing. The tubing trip took us about 4.5 hours to complete (we stopped to eat lunch on the beach). I strongly suggest renting a cooler tube ($10) to hold your food and drinks. When we arrived to the end of our float, we were all sad to have to get off the river—we all said we wanted to come back the following day and do it again! It was truly one of my favorite things I’ve done in the tri-state area and can’t wait to come back and do it again!

White's Farm

White's Farm is open Wednesday, year-round, daylight to noon, and Tuesday evenings in summer. On a typical summer Wednesday over 500 vendors and thousands of shoppers gather at White's farm for a fun, family-friendly day of buying and selling treasures. The items at White's Farm are endless: Antiques, crafts, produce, Amish goods, toys, shrubs, bikes, tools, and more.

I have been going to Whites for years! Never know what you might find there. Live the animal auction that ends out the day. They haven't been having the evening events due to Covid-19 but I hope they ring them back as well. Really miss the days they used to have bands here at night. Would love to have them add another day for the flea market or even weekends. It is hard to go during the week if you work.

Brookville Lake

Reviewed By BrownsburgBoiler - Brownsburg, United States

I road my bike on the Scenic Trail. It is an abandon road that is now used for hiking and biking. It was in great shape for biking. The redbug trees were all blooming on the side of the road and were spectacular! I started at the parking lot on the south end. It was 7 miles round trip and the only steep climb was at the north end. If I ride it again, I would start on the south end and turn around at the top of the hill on the north end and skip that climb.

We hiked the Glidewell Trail, Long Loop clockwise, about 4.5 miles. It was well marked and maintained. The downhills are a bit steep and you have to watch footing with roots and limestone. The middle part of the trail is flat and parallels the lakefront. There is some beach access. Invasives: Some work has been done on bush honeysuckle. Quite a variety of woody invasives along the lakefront -- Japanese honeysuckle, multi-flora rose and, of course, bush honeysuckle.
