Great place to bring young kids especially to see how they like roller coasters! :) splash pad was very nice with a large change cabin right beside it which was very convenient. This attraction also is not very large so great to bring the grand parents along as well. Fully wheel chair accessible from what I could see. All staff that we interacted with were fantastic - especially the younger "kids" operating most of the rides - very patient and very polite! Our 6 year old was very happy. There's also an area for bigger kids with an arcade and go karts that we didn't visit but looked awesome. So something for every age group for sure! Only "negative" I can think of is that the pirate paddle boats are only good for riders under 200lbs. At 6'2 and sporting a bit of a dad bod it ruled me out for the paddle boats but I've got great video of my wife and daughter experiencing a paddle boat for the first time! :)

Grabbed a flight of beer for $5 with a couple of friends, and enjoyed the sunshine out on their patio. The beer was fantastic, the staff was helpful, and there was a great relaxed atmosphere.

This is a great place to hike, particularly in the fall with all the colours. Trails are well maintained. Only request would be more descriptive trail markers.

When my children were younger we used to go there and sit on the rocks by the falls, follow the trail down through the trees with the sun shining down over the rocks and water giving a reflection of fairies as my kids were so sure lived there. My years have past but now my grandchildren share the same adventure, some things are very precious and leave memories not forgotten. Beautiful magical place.

Two of my children are in their teens and had been to Kirby's Beach each summer when in day camp. It is located a short drive from Bracebridge. It was a hot afternoon so I took my children and two other kids to the beach for the afternoon. Kirby's beach is well maintained, the grass is cut, lots of parking and washroom facilities. There are a few picnic tables to use. The beach is sand and great for small children as it goes deeper very gradually and it takes quite awhile before it gets deep. The kids laughed and giggled playing in the water for over 1 1/2 hours while I read a book on the ground under the shade of a tree. The kids were 16, 14, 13 and 7. A great way to cool off for a couple of hours and get the children outdoors.
