This imposing structure, built by the Knights of St. John in the early 15th century, is the most prominent feature of Bodrum.

If you want to know more about this famous Turkish superstar you are in the right place. The fee is 10TL ( Almost 2$ and almost 1 euro) and free for students. This house used to be Zeki Müren's house you could see his personal belongings, photos, awards, clothes, furnitures and even his car! Sometimes there are some musical practices upstairs. Includes a small cafeteria. If you want to know more about the Turkish culture and their music preference you should definitely use this cheap opportunity.

Amazing views along this marina, stunning yachts docked up and lots of choice on restaurants... good bars, shopping, markets and some handy taxi boats to hotels. Loved coming here.

Built sometime during the Hellenistic age, the structure is situated on a hillside over looking the city and was used primarily as a stage for theatrical productions.
I had been here with my husband in February 2020. Amazing historical place which brings you back to more than 20 centuries! Highly recommend everyone to see it and climb up to the top of it like we did!

Bitez beach is probably the best beach in the Bodrum peninsula if you have kids. Large section of the beach is very shallow and warm water, with lots of kids activities.

We took a bus into Bodrum town, it is a beautiful resort, there is a lovely castle in the harbour, the bazaar is a short walk from the castle, there are a few market stalls in the street. The bazaar is in a covered market area, there are varied stalls, vegetables, fruit, flowers, towels, tablecloths, gifts, handbags, shoes etc, I purchased 3 leather handbags for £25, they accept English currency Another day we took the hovercraft over to Kos, lots of shops selling bags I bought a large holdall bag for £15. We walked back and walked through the old town lots of bars and cafes and shops selling leather bags, purses and carpets and gifts..
