For those of us who seek adventure, outdoor thrills, “extreme” sport, and superb views, then hiking the Israel Trail from Moshav Beit Hananya up to the Observatory on the top of Ramat Ha’Nadiv – on top of those CLIFFS that can be seen when driving past Zichron Yaakov on any of the nearby major highways - is one of the best hikes/adventures and views in all of Israel. And don’t worry, there is no actual cliff climbing or metal hand holds. The Israel Trail snakes up a steep and a little bit rocky but easily hiked grassy passage between the cliffs. Along the top of the cliffs you will experience some of the most awesome views Israel has to offer. Recently, I even took some of my young grandchildren on this hike - not the whole way to the Observatory but to the first clump of trees on top of the cliffs where there is a wonderful commanding view of the Mediterranean Sea, the Carmel coastline and the Sharon Plain all the way down to Netanya in the south. For those who continue on to the Observatory, you will be able to see some phenomenal views all the way up the coastline to Haifa! Go do it and judge for yourself!

Another new brach of Segs Segway tours now in Caesarea. Segs among the antiquities
This is not your typical segway tour, since these are all terrain segways and I wouldn't recommend doing it for your first time on segways. The view was fantastic and the tour highly enjoyable, but 2 people from our group fell pretty badly. The tour was also supposed to be in English, but the tour guide's English was terrible. I spent most of the time translating.

Can't say enough good things about this family-run winery and the people behind it. Besides the interesting wine-and-chocolate pairings that others have noted, Tishbi also has a full sourdough bread bakery (don't miss the cheesecake!) and a kosher BBQ in the back (don't miss the brisket!). Really a wonderful experience.

A nature reserve that combines nature and history through which the Taninim River runs. The nature reserve includes the remains of a dam built at the end of the Roman period and the beginning of the Byzantine period, the remains of several flour mills that were recently unearthed during digs and several hiking trails.
Some parts of the Roman dam and aqueduct carrying water to Caesarea is the highlight of this nature reserve. The Roman dam captured water from Nahal Ada and Nahal Taninim, Later the l\ the dam was used to provide power to flour mills. Restoration work allows the visitors to better understand the ancient infrastructure. The water still support many species of flora and fauna. Place to have fun and learn without serious workout

Bamerkaz, or "Centered", is located in the picturesque village of Givat Ada , right at the center of Israel , just 40 minutes away from two major Israeli cities: Tel Aviv to the south and Haifa to the north. Our balcony overlooks the beautiful landscape of the area, which reminiscent Tuscany : orchards, groves, vines and green pastures. The colours and scents from outside echo within and articulated in the site's design and atmosphere. We specialise in hosting and producing group indoor and outdoor activities: for recreation, learning and team cohesion, including a range of exciting workshops focused on experiential sessions with added individual and group value, all in an enchanting country atmosphere. Bamerkaz produces a wide variety of company/ organisation events in Israel's most beautiful landscapes: Corporate Fun Days, Team Building & Management Development Workshops, integration and communication between groups, Day tours, event planning and more - Always great fun involved with some learning for unforgettable experience. Our vicinity to the tranquil Israeli outdoors, the unique value-added contents we offer, and - last but far from least - our exquisite meals - all provide a whole and wholesome experience with an revitalising local twist.
Bamerkaz is a lovely and homey place which hosts workshops for organised groups.
I have experienced a visit there with a group, and from a noisy and agitated group of individuals, sort of speak, came out smiling more relaxed togetherness.
We were there for the workshops (accentuating stress peacefulness in everyday life), but there are also outdoor activities like diverse guided tours.
Bamerkaz offers more than the eye can see. The surrounding are absolutely beautiful, the service a delight, but more than everything - you don't want to leave, but when you do you take something with you- insights, laughters, the memory of a good time.

The Caesarea Ralli Museums. The Museums are located in a 40,000 square meter park. The first Caesarea Ralli Museum exhibits mainly Latin American and Spanish paintings and sculptures. The second museum exhibits 16th to 18th century paintings depicting biblical themes.
One of the best Israeli museums. Wonderful collection of Dali sculptures, interesting south American paintings. Very beautiful Sephardic pavilion - pity, nothing interesting inside; also no notice of more or less well-known Sephard Jews in late 1000 years - besides Columbus and Cervantes (?)

This is one of my favorite places to consume music.
It is not too small and not too large.
The setting is beautiful.
So, it seems, artists performing here get a special boost.
The crowd is close and able to send energies back to the stage. The artists take-off, the crowd loves it. And so it goes, the cycle of love.

This site kicked off our Holy Land tour and it was quite spectacular. It was truly amazing to consider the different iterations through which this area has progressed. Most amazing was to consider what Herod accomplished without the benefit of modern construction machinery.
While the ruins are wonderful to visit, the site is also quite beautifully located on the coast of Israel and the lapping of waves makes for an idyllic viewing experience.
