You can see the view of the Bay of Quinte all along this lovely trail. It is great for bike riding, pushing a stroller or a walker, running or just for a leisurely walk. I usually see swans, ducks, Canada geese and other types of birds. They are many places to sit. There is a good play ground for the children. All along the trail is a photographer's paradise.

I organize an annual golf weekend for 12+ friends. Reached out to Bill Kerr at Black Bear about a group rate for the end of May last year. Got back to me right away with great rates and service. This course is legit. Well manicured, nice greens, lots of elevation changes. We played 9 holes Friday afternoon, 18 holes Saturday and 9 holes on the Executive Par 3 course as a scramble (the par 3 course was the gem of the weekend, group loved it. Only need a wedge and putter). Staff service was excellent as well, clubhouse, beverage cart, shuttling and back shop.(we got rained on Friday night, back shop staff took all of our wet clubs and let them dry out in their building overnight) The list goes on. If you want great service for group booking, Black Bear goes above an beyond to make it an experience. Won't be disappointed.

Discover Belleville's Treasure: Glanmore National Historic Site. This grand Victorian mansion serves as both a historic house and community museum. It was built in 1883 for prominent Belleville Banker John Philpot Curran Phillips and his wife Harriet. Glanmore was designated a National Historic Site for its exceptional 2nd Empire style architecture. The historic house has had extensive restoration. The museum exhibits artifacts original to the historic house as well as fine art and decorative objects from the Couldery collection and artifacts that are significant to local history from the Regional collection. The museum is open-year round.
the self guided tour of this house is stunning, most of the furniture is authentic The home has been restored to a beautiful piece of art!

Trillium Wood Golf Club is characterized by mature trees, large greens, elevated tees, rolling bentgrass fairways, picturesque ponds, and strategically placed bunkers. The magnificently scenic 18 holes gives one the sense that they have been part of the landscape for many years. The par 72 course plays between 4900 and 6700 yards from four tee decks on over 200 acres of undulating wooded areas and scenic heathland. The course is supported by one of the region's premier driving ranges with separate teaching and practice areas. Perhaps most noteworthy is the sense that virtually every hole is its own separate entity. For most of the holes, foursomes will be alone, surrounded by awesome stands of fairway trees.
Played this course for the first time last weekend and I was so impressed. I wished I lived closer cause I would join in a heartbeat. Driving range and putting green were top notch and the condition of the course was par with many of the top courses in the province. Had a good speed of play and plenty of drink carts and carts were clean and well cared for. Good value as well as we typically play in the gta
