Red Flower Gallery has a beautiful selection of paintings by artist Paulette Salo. She is very well known for classical murals in the US. The paintings here are all scenes of Caye Caulker. One of a kind gift handmade items jewelery, and beachware and the best bug spray you can find.
We didn’t go to Caye Caulker to shop. That said, we wandered in to learn more about the insect repellent sold here and stayed to hear some of Paulette’s life experiences and restaurant recommendations on the island. The local Belizean artwork for sale here is also worth looking at. Her paintings are delightful, colorful, and reflect much of life here. She also generously promotes other local artists on the island. She alone is worth a walk into the store. It’s a good place to hang during a tropical storm, too!

We went on a snorkel tour with Daryl from Searious Adventures to Mexico Rocks Reef. We saw abundant reef fish, a big barracuda named Henry, many lobsters, southern rays, several coral varieties and green sea turtles. It was an easy place to get around, with lots to see. High quality snorkel tour.

This beautiful nature reserve is in an area world famous for its excellent diving.
Marine reserve is so well managed. Amazing corals and huge and abundant variety of fish from Angel fish, parrotfish, grouper, horse-eyed jacks and barracuda Went on to Shark Alley and swam with the Nurse Sharks and Rays - fantastic experience. We went with Ramons Dive Village who were excellent.

We saw Shark Ray Alley as part of a Hol Chan Marine Reserve Scuba Tour twice. The first time, the tour guide recommended we spend more time on the reef because Shark Ray Alley is about a 10 minute feeding frenzy. While he wasn't wrong (and also a little overwhelming at first), we didn't realize there's a neat little piece of the reef right nearby. When we went on another tour (same trip to Belize - needless to say, highly recommend it do one of these tours!), and another tour company recommend that we swim around the nearby reef just feet away while the frenzy died down. Was another opportunity to see some of the incredible natural beauty of Belize!

We were staying in Ambergris Cay so visited via water taxi, hooked ourselves up with Bernie, a golf cart “taxi” driver and got an incredible tour of the island. It is much smaller than San Pedro and less developed — we preferred it and if we ever return to Belize, will definitely stay on this island.

We just moved to our new location, sharing space with Georgie's Crust & Crumbs Pie Shop. Now located 2 1/2 blocks North of the 'roundabout' on the way to the bridge. We have the largest selection of Belizean Art in the country, with over 2500 Belize-made paintings, hundreds Belize-made Masks & Carvings. We also have the largest selection of the finest hammocks and blankets, and now Gourmet Pies and Breads.
The Gallery, and the owner, Jerry, is great. My favorite place to look for and buy gifts and prints etc for home. Jerry has made several giclees for me and I love them. I bring my guests there too and they always end up buying from The Gallery as well! AND, the pie shop with on the spot baking is fabulous!! Great store!!

Belizean Arts Gallery was founded over 30 years ago by an artist. The store which is located deep in Fido's Courtyard features a diverse collection of original paintings by leading artists together with artesano jewelry in gold and silver, wood and slate carvings, ceramics, Garifuna drums, Mayan masks, fabrics and much more. Open daily until late. Paintings can be rolled for traveling or shipped.
This was such a fun place to look around. We ended up buying a painting by Nelson Young who lives on Caye Caulker, but he doesn't paint anymore. They have a bunch of cool paintings and they roll them up for you, so you can travel with them. They are packed up really well in PCV pipe and no issues with customs, etc. They also have jewelry, wood carvings, etc. Make sure you check them out on Front Street while you are in Belize.

Great place to spend the day! There is a great bar and grill called The Lazy Lizard that has excellent food and cold drinks. The split is a body of water separating North and South Caye Caulker. It is a great place to snorkel for free. There is a dock for sun bathing and easy access to the water. There is also a fishing area for those that want to try their luck. Kayaks and paddle boards are available for rent.
Not a ton of great beaches on Caye Caulker so the split is an excellent place to just chill out. Lots of chairs and lounges, a high dive platform and an enclosed, little lagoon with some tables in the water give for many options of relaxing here. Plenty of places to grab a bite, a beer or a cocktail and also a great place to watch either the boats passing by or the sunset.

We rented golf carts and all drove to Secret Beach from Ramon's Village, a group of 30 of us! Secret Beach you must visit!! Music, food, beer, wine, specials, they have it all with lounge chairs and the water there is just great, you can go out so far, and also they have tubes you can lay on, a great place to visit while in San Pedro plus a nice ride to get there.
