The museum is MASSIVE, and there are more planes, military equipment and uniforms, and war artifacts to count. To try to read everything would take hours! The best part about the museum is admission is free! You will definitely get good exercise just walking throughout the space, but prepare for long walks for small kids and those with mobility challenges (I believe there are strollers and scooters available in the lobby) There are several planes in hangar 4, including a few Air Force One, that can be walked through, but the spaces are very narrow, which I can see problematic for larger or older individuals. There are opportunities for flight simulators geared towards older children and adults. My two toddlers (ages 4 and 3) had a great time seeing all the planes, but I wish there were more interactive exhibits/exhibits children could sit in, that would entertain smaller kids. Def recommend for Dayton visitors and history buffs!

Each Game is a real‑life escape room adventure for a small group. Work together as a team to escape the room before time runs out. It’s great for groups of friends, family, or coworkers. You’ll solve puzzles, crack codes, find hidden items, and more in order to escape. You have one goal: escape the room in under one hour! We have 3 rooms the Bank Vault, Outbreak room, and Egyptian Tomb!
This was my first escape room, but I was with others who had been to several others. This seemed like something grade schoolers would come up with, not a professional business. The others in my group agreed and thought the same. Great game, sad set...MoreAmy, Thank you for your response. This is typically something I would hear people say about my competitors. Never in 15 months has anyone said those sort of things about our business. Are you sure you reviewed the right company?

Going in the middle of the week was a good choice. I got a personal walk around inside the transportation museum and the Wright museum. Both of these are well worth the visit, not to mention everything else on the grounds. There are some historical artifacts that you cannot see anywhere else as they literally don't exist. The grounds are lovely and I would love to come back when the weather is nice. The staff is excellent as well. I haven't been to a museum where the docents were that helpful in a long time. As an added bonus a young bald eagle pair has just established a nest above the Wright museum and you can see them flying around or sitting in the trees. Very neat experience.

I visited for NFL Draft night, and bar was packed, and pizza was great for a bar, and water was cold. Only thing to improve is to have a caffiene free diet soft drink. But ice water was a great subsitute.

My wife and I walked around the green. A lot of nice restaurants. Most of the stores are high priced yuppie stores. Not really my taste is stores. Nice movie theater. Nice place for a short walk. Nice atmosphere.
Not one of my favorite places to shop.

Get rid of all the mental and physical stress with Gravity Spa's flotation tanks / sensory deprivation tanks, a truly unique experience for yourself or as a gift. You won't find anything like it! Floating can be paired with massage for the full experience. Our prices are very reasonable and the staff is definitely worth writing home about! Check out our couples classes in February and March; our massage workshops make a great date night idea!
My husband & I had a very stressful flight into Dayton with many, many delays. That being said, we were looking for somewhere to end our brief vacation with a relaxing day at the spa. After reviewing many options, I settled on Gravity Spa Flotation Center. I wanted to try something different & that is exactly what I got! While my husband had a 90 minute massage by Angie, I did a 60 minute float & then had a 60 minute massage by Layanna. As a person that sometimes stresses out in confined spaces, I was hesitant to do the float. But the idea of trying something different & the reviews I read convinced me to give it a chance. I am so glad I did, floating was an awesome experience! They do recommend the 90 minute float for first-timers & I agree, you need that time to be able to fully let go, relax & just float. Once I finally fully let go & relaxed, my time was up! So on my next trip, I will definitely go with the 90 minute float. As for the massages, they were perfection! Both my husband & I prefer a very deep tissue massage, focusing on our trouble areas & that is exactly what we got! Angie & Layanna are very skilled & did an amazing job on each of us! We will be returning to the Dayton area in the fall & will definitely be visiting Gravity Spa again for floats & massages!

The museum is housed in a 100 year old 3 story Packard dealership. An adjoining building holds more Packard's and a fine research library. Early Packard's were the luxury cars of their time. This museum has examples of Packard's from the 1930's to the end of their rein in the late 50's when purchased by Studebaker. The outer rim of the building contain advertising, documents, pictures, accessories, engines, etc. Packard was very involved with the war effort with engines that powered planes and PT boats. The cars were used for military brass. View the video in the research library. The museum contains a hearse that was used in the 'Godfather' movie along with a car owned by Perry Como. The docents are knowledgeable and friendly. Admission is reasonable and parking is on the street. If you love beautiful cars this is well worth a visit.
