I’ve now had a 90 min massage at both locations - Ballina and Bangalow. Both were outstanding and hands down the best massages I’ve ever had. So caring and professional. Thank you. I will be back!

Drive there is windy and due to recent rain, water over the road at points. We were able to cross in 2-door no issues. The hike down to the base of the falls takes about an hour, it is a 70m descent but it's an easy walk. You have to climb up and over some big boulders as you get closer to the waterfall. Again, due to the recent rain in the area the falls, were full and overflowing heavily. Stunning! I would highly recommend visiting after a day or two after heavy rainfall.

For 30 years this has been one of the biggest and best markets in Australia. In the middle of the village of Bangalow in the Showground once a month the market brings hundreds of stallholders together to provide a feast for the all of your senses. Food, craft, art, clothes... performers world class buskers and music.
Busy market as we were there the Sunday before Christmas, still easy to traverse. Parking managed well and minimal walking to markets if uneven ground and on a slope. Fantastic selection of stalls. Some hippy, many artistic, some beautiful quality. Something for everyone! Great variety of stalls. Great amount of food options available. Awesome coffee and great cold options! Highly recommend!

Located in the heritage precinct of the Bangalow Parklands & Weir area, Bangalow Heritage House Museum under the auspice of the Bangalow Historical Society is run by volunteers. Museum displays include war records of local families, an extensive collection of memorabilia relating to the history of Bangalow and the early families. The verandah is available for hire.
Fancy a lovely cup of tea? You won't find many cafes around here serving tea in a beautiful pot and china cups. Beautiful tranquil setting and an old house with lots of interesting details to entice you to return. Staff (all volunteers) are fabulous, thank you!

Hammer & Hand have moved to Bangalow from the Byron Industrial Estate! Hammer and Hand is a collective of passionate artists who work with metal. You will find an eclectic range of handmade and individually designed jewellery, sculpture and stainless steel utensils such as cake servers, salad servers, ladles and spoons. The gallery is a working studio and so during opening hours (10am - 4pm 7 days a week) there will always be a practising artist at work at the bench. You can book a jewellery making lesson or workshop with some of our members. We look forward to meeting you on your next visit to the Byron Shire.
