Discover an outstanding collection of American art, including works by N.C., Andrew and Jamie Wyeth, housed in a historic grist mill with glass-walled lobbies overlooking the scenic Brandywine. During the holiday season, experience the extensive O-gauge model train display, one of the largest in the country, with five trains running simultaneously on nearly 2,000 feet of track. Enjoy guided tours of the Andrew Wyeth Studio, the N.C. Wyeth House and Studio and Kuerner Farm (April to mid-November). Museum shop and cafe.
We were in the area primarily to spend time at Longwood Gardens for their Christmas displays. I'd been to the Brandywine Museum before, in the Fall, and it was spectacular and quite moving, what with the beauty of the site, the river, the opportunity to see the Wyeth family home and N.C.'s extraordinary studio, as well as paintings from the Wyeth Family.
This December visit, then, was aimed at sharing the experience with my husband, who had not visited before. Honestly, it was quite disappointing, in that tours through the Wyeth homes/studio are closed until the Spring (my "bad" for not picking up on this on the museum website....so I'm warning you here); the paintings on display at our visit included only a few of Andrew's works (though N.C.s illustrations remain as thrilling as ever) , and the holiday displays of the natural trees and train display were charming, but......
In my opinion, given the paucity of Andrew Wyeth's paintings on display, if you are not able to tour the other sites that make up a integral part of the entire Wyeth experience and compelling family history, save your time and money and wait 'til Spring.

The volunteers who staff the visitor center couldn't be nicer. Just today blacksmith Mr. WIlliams made a J hook from scratch for my son. Unfortunately, there are a few visitors who do not respect this beautiful place and insist on leaving their trash, cigarette butts, water bottles, dog waste, and fishing gear for others to pick up. Please folks, respect great places like this and the volunteers who make it possible for us to enjoy it too.

We had a fun time in the park. There are a lot of things to see here and a good walk in the woods. Our dog loved it too.

My GPS had trouble finding this place so make sure you check the map first. Unusually good food on site - prices are reasonable and lots of good choices. Sandwiches, Salads and regular pub food. If you have to spend a day at an arena this is a good one.

After seeing several friends post pictures on Facebook of the Big Bugs special exhibit at Tyler, I knew I wanted to take my kids there. After further researching Tyler on its website and seeing the pictures of the tree houses, I got even more excited to take them. It was everything I had expected and hoped for, and more. The Big Bugs were so cool to look at, and it was fun finding them throughout the property. My kids loved the tree houses. Each one was so different, unique, and fun to explore. Searching for bullfrogs in the marshy areas was another of my kids' favorite adventures of the day. There is so much to see in the way of plants, trees and nature and the walking paths are great throughout the property. I enjoyed it so much we bought a family membership. It will be awesome to visit Tyler again in the fall.

My wife and I visited here with another couple. We were pleasantly surprised at the wine flights we tried (whites and reds). Most of them were quite good. Our usual experience is that most wines for tasting are so-so. These were not. Our friends really liked the Sangria, but it is not available for sale by the bottle. It is made fresh. We sat outside on picnic tables and listened to the live music on a weekend afternoon. The view was idyllic. We will be returning to try more wines in the future.

What a beautiful stadium and fantastic place to watch professional soccer. We have visited several times and always enjoyed ourselves. There are plenty of safe parking lots for tailgating. There aren't any bad seats in the stadium. Food prices are somewhat cheaper than MLB and NFL stadiums, but beer prices are similar. Look forward to going back soon.

Went the first time and had a wonderful time thought oh maybe because it was our first visit there the staff were being extra nice.. NOPE I was wrong the staff is ALWAYS nice.. last visit the manger assisted us even gave my son a free trial run to see if he liked it (he normally does paintball)this time we were waited on by Patty.. She was just as nice as the manager and gave both my boys specific instructions and attention.. well low and behold she was the owner.. would have never been able to tell she was SOOO down to earth and truly cared about the children their happiness.. I highly recommend this place as my boys were kept happy well over 5 hours..
