The first stand-alone non-profit invertebrate zoo in the nation.
Butterfly Pavilion takes you right into to the forest/jungle habitat so that you can see the butterflies in all stages of their development. They are flying about so that you can see them in their natural habitat. There is also an area where the staff can show and tell about insects and one can even handle them.

Arts peerformance center with art galleries, classes and a children's playground.
Our group of four recently purchased tickets to see "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" at the Arvada Center. We were completely happy with the performance! The sets were amazing, the music was terrific, and the performers were truly outstanding! Bravo to each and every one of them! There is plenty of free parking available. Wine is sold in the lobby for $6.00/glass.

Car museum owned by the author Clive Cussler
We are avid Clive Cussler fans and were delighted to find he houses his collection of vintage vehicles in Arvada, Colorado! Sixty of his 100 vintage cars are on display annually! Any vehicle featured in one of his books is on display! We spent several hours reveling in Mr Cussler's collection! This Museum is kept in pristine condition and the staff are welcoming and certainly not obtuse in any manner! We are grateful Mr Cussler shares his amazing collection! We highly recommend this venue to anyone interested in vintage automobiles traveling in the Denver area!

Went here with some friends and loved it. It is a bar/pub, with lots of character. Food was really good and there was LOTS of it. I took half of my club sandwich and home made fries home and enjoyed it the next day. It has a cozy feel, with several smallish rooms that help keep the clatter down. It also has a nice, big patio out front.

I had a great time and was surprised at the age of the instructor. My friends purchased the Lamborghini drive for me and while there was an upsell for a longer drive, it was a very fun experience. I just wish it would have lasted longer! I would definitely consider doing it again!

The Olde Towne area is cute and pleasant, certainly a nice change from the humongous housing developments and mega malls. Easy parking, nice to stroll along wide sidewalks and some interesting stores. Good restaurants as well. There are also some nice green spaces nearby. If in Arvada, then you have to go here.

This little center is so worth the walk! The bear park at the front of Majestic View is only half the fun. If you follow the winding sidewalk through the lush grass, the vista is amazing. Follow the little gray crushed gravel path down to...MoreWe are so glad you had a fun time visiting! Thanks for your kind words, and come back soon!

We stopped by the Silver Vines Winery for a quick look around. The lady at the counter was so friendly and peppy. She told us all about the wines, where they came from, what grapes were used and anything else we wanted to know. I walked out with a Cabernet Sauvignon and can't wait to partake. This would be an awesome place for a girls night out, and just might have to do that soon.
