Beautiful beach, exquisite site with white and brown cliffs. Less crowed they Mucuge. Great beach with light waves to swim and for the kids to have fun. A nice walk and to the end you’ll see the lagoon with freshwater. It’s about a 20 to 30 minute walk for Praia Mucuge. A MUST go. Parking is paid ($20,00) in some bars you have a descont if you park in their especific area.

Nossa Senhora da Ajuda Church is very beautiful and charming it is the oldest church in Brasil and it dates back to the Mid 1500's, every Sunday Evening there is Mass held (in Portuguese). Walking around there are many close by restaurants, souvenir shops of all kind and The famous Mucuge street is just two blocks away to complete the charm.

Rua Bróduei and Mucugê is an open air mall, restaurants and shops share space and come in all shapes and styles. Details in each look, colors, culture, picanha on the plate, seafood pan, cocoa, souvenirs. Variety for all tastes. The most expensive and sophisticated restaurants are on Rua Mucuge.

My husband and I spent our vacations this year in Porto Seguro, so we decided to visit Arraial D'Ajuda, a little town 5 minutes boat ride away from Porto Seguro. It's a beautiful spot with good food, reasonable prices, and beautiful beaches. We just had time to visit Mucuge beach, but we really enjoyed our time there. We're definetely coming back.
