The best place for Meditation. Kasar Devi is one of the only three places on Earth including Machu Picchu in Peru and Stone Henge in England to best the strongest geo-magnetic field which is believed to be the best for meditation. Swami Vivekanada Ji also visited the place and started his spiritual journey from here. If you visit Almora, visit Kasar Devi for sure, it's just 13 Km from Almora. The whole region is covered by Pine forests hence enhancing the beauty of this place.

The roads leading to the guest house on the top ( 10 kms) are very narrow but adventures to drive on. The 2 km trek from the guest house to zero point has beautiful views, surrounded by lush green trees and occasions growl of animals. It’s a place one cannot afford to skip while in Binsar

Chaubatia garden is a wonderful sloped garden, with tall trees to greet you, numerous flowers and fruit trees to welcome you, and views of Himalayan peaks to wow you ! It is a government garden maintained superbly, with an outlet of organic local produce and a small outlet selling an amazing collection of flowering plants and succulents ! All in all, a wonderful place to spend some peaceful time walking on and around a hill slope :)

Standing at the top of the mountains, you can have the best possible view to a sunset or even a sunrise. The blue sky turning orange and yellow is magical.
