A city of Ajmer in Rajasthan, India; is mainly famous for its Temples and tombs One of the famous Jain temples is known as Lal Mandir ( red temple) , which belongs to the earlier school of Jainism - known as Digamber sect. This temple is dedicated to the first Tirthankara - Rishabh dev . Next to the main temple is an old and beautiful haveli, turned into a museum. . It is exhibiting the life of Rishabh dev (adinath ), from his birth, renunciation, enlightenment to salvation, in a marvelous model called city of gold or swarna nagari. The remarkable detailed work of model city is gilded in gold with wooden framework from floor to ceiling including walls. This golden chamber of the temple uses 1000 kg of gold to carve out a depiction of Ayodhya. This unique and extra ordinary work was initiated by Seth Moolchand Soni, who was a Jain merchant. A small place brings in big surprises !! The museum is open daily between 6 am to 8 pm. There is an entrance fee. No footwear allowed in the temple or museum .

The Nareli Jain temple is located on the National highway near Nasirabad Cantonment. I visited this amazing complex last August with my cousin Praveen and his son Sharan. The temple is extremely clean and is located away from the city. There are some amazing sculptures here. The main temple uses a mixture of styles and there are 23 miniature temples up the hill. You can drive nearly to the top and can get amazing views of the surroundings. We managed to catch a Sunset from the hill. There is an air of peace and tranquility here. A must see attraction near Ajmer.

Ajmer Sharif Dargah, Ajmer Dargah, Ajmer Sharif or Dargah Sharif is a sufi shrine (Dargah) of sufi saint, Moinuddin Chishti located at Ajmer, Rajasthan, India.
We visited the Holy place of Dargah Shariff in first week of jan19 and it was such a nice and blessed trip that we cannot define in words. Although the entry is quite congested to the Dargah but once you enter the Dargah, it’s Shine and atmosphere takes you to the other world. We were totally blessed with our sight since we meet “Fakri Baba Ajmer Dargah Sharif” who is supped to be the one of the old caretaker and known from Dargah- he has also shared his no. If anyone wants to visit.. they absolutely do not charge anything and we being Hindu finds a true and great support from them..they took us to the main Dargah and we were hugely blessed..

The lake is located at the heart of the city. You can enjoy the sunset from the shores of the lake. A lovely walkway has been built for pedestrians, lit with lamps. On the other side is the city.

I went to Daulat Bagh Garden. The Marble pavilions built in the premises of the Daulat Bagh Garden is a main attraction of the garden besides the beautifully bloomed flowers and tall trees which make the breeze calm and cool. It is great place to go.

Birla is an amazing place which is actually in your budget. You read that right. According to my experience, i have visited all the major water parks in rajasthan but birla outshined all of them. We went there during a weekday and the entry cost for a person was ₹400 and on weekends it is 500 but the experience we had there was amazing.. They have amazing slides, thundering rain dance, super amazing wavepool and surprisingly swimming pool was 8 feet deep. To my shock park had 6-7 german shepherd dogs and they were causing no harm to anyone, they were so quiet and amazing.

This memorial is located between Ajmer and Pushkar. Very good place to spend some time with a great view overlooking the Ajmer city and huge Ana Sagar lake. Good place for selfies and snaps. Although the aminities there like restaurant and public toilet seemed to be non-operational. A must visit spot to spend some time if you are travelling between Ajmer and Pushkar.
