Take in the stunning surroundings of Queen Elizabeth Forest Park as you fly 46 metres above the ground on two of Britain's longest zip wires. Located in the Trossachs National Park, it's a mecca for Go Ape pilgrims, thrill seekers, adventure lovers and those that just want to get out and have some fun in Loch Lomond.

Come and explore the fantastic cycle routes, forest roads and mountain trails on our quality mountain bikes. Hundreds of miles of traffic free routes for all ages and abilities of cyclist. Hire shop, cafe and repair workshop in the centre of the village with free parking.
Lovely coffee, bacon's, rolls and, cakes. Good service. Gave map of forest trials which was helpful as tourist info like Fort knox due to covid and not exactly welcoming with 2 ztaff guarding entrance. Map really helpful rather than trying to read on a phone. Would visit cafe again.

My favourite part is the local pub as it has lovely beer garden and serves the most delicious food at great prices. It's a lovely little village and ppl really nice. Has lots to do for everyone from cycling, parks and Go Ape adventure park.

What a beautiful way to spend a day. This drive is well worth it - beautiful scenery and plenty of opportunities to park up and get out and walk. A short enough drive to not need any refreshments which is good as there is nowhere to get anything but it could be long enough to pack a picnic and find somewhere to take a break.

With forest map and well signed trails, easy to follow. Paths muddy in places. Nice countryside. Part of route is a cycle path too

Situated just beyond Aberfoyle this is a lovely loch to drive along and then drive back or stop at either end in the Forestry Commission carparks and explore on foot.

Visited today with my daughter and her boyfriend. Staff were very helpful as l wasn't confident on the water. On their recommendation we selected a 3 man canoe. It was much more stable than l thought and we happily paddled around the loch. Really tranquil day with a bit of mizzle which added to the beauty of our surroundings. The staff recommended a route and there was plenty of time to get around the lake and stop for a swim on the island. Great afternoon. Would recommend and would definitely come again.

We visited here for Go Ape initially but returned as the spot is so beautiful. We did the Waterfall walk which was lovely and easy to do with a buggy. Scenery was amazing, there was enough interactive stuff to keep the kids entertained too - hidden fairy garden, lovely statues, perfect bridge for pooh sticks, hidden hide to watch the birds and red squirrels. We will definitely return for another trail.
