Bizarium is a museum full of weird inventions. A museum of brilliant inventors and their boundless imagination, their technical ingenuity and above all immense passion. Bizarium inspires and surprises with genius, scientific and wacky inventions. Think of a flying bicycle, a walking submarine, a hair helmet, a swimming umbrella, as well as bizarre idees from geniuses like Leonardo da Vinci, Athanasius Kircher and Nikola Tesla.

Small but nice museum that shows hundreds of objects used by childeren at (mainly) primary school from mid 1800.Schooldesks, books, writing means, letter boxes, abacuses, numerous wall maps and wall pictures showing hystory, religion, biology, and much more. Also playing toys, used by boys and girls are to be seen here.A lot of nostalgia for the elderly and a discovery for the childeren.

Come and get to know the unknown site of the province of Zeeland and the soul of its people in the new and magnificent maritime muZEEum in Vlissingen, Holland. The museum is housed in several buildings, dating back to the 16th and 21th century. Modern architecture has blended these buildings in a very special way. From the roof balcony with its unique 17th century watchtower you can enjoy the breathtaking view of the 'Westerschelde'. At the muZEEum you find: - The Lampsins'beautifull 17th century town house - Michiel de Ruyter's adventures - Underwater treasure from sunk East Indiamen - Fascinating maritime games - Stories about Zeeland's illustrious past - Vlissingen's turbulent history - Zeeland's maritime life, then and now.
