Glacier Cyclery

We visit Whitefish periodically, and our Daughter (who lives in Whitefish) has used Glacier Cyclery for minor maintenance on their bikes. During a recent visit, a found a particular bike I have been looking for on the local Craigslist site. This shop handled the boxing it for me, and explained how I could use Bikeflights.com to have it shipped home quite reasonably. When the bike arrived, the local shop I had reassemble it commented on how well it was packed. It’s now assembled, and I’m enjoying it back home. Nice job Glacier Cyclery!

I booked this for my son’s 11 bday party and I didn’t really know what to expect. Oh man- it was so much fun (I think the parents had as much fun as the kids). Janet is a total pro and went the extra mile to make it a great day. Excellent gear and she even had a tent and heater set up if anyone got cold and wanted to warm up (we didn’t- we were all sweating from running around in the woods). Playing laser tag in snow was great. Don’t be afraid to book it in the winter- this is a 4 season outdoor activity! Thanks Janet. Today was a great day :-)

Had an awesome time solving the camelot room. There was a puzzle level for everyone and all members of our family found a way to contribute. Even with 9 participants the room didn't feel crowded at all and no one was stepping on another's toes. Thanks Justin Smith for being a great game master! We had a blast

Whitefish Mountain Resort, in northwest Montana, is noted for its laid-back vibe, world-class skiing, and unbeatable value. The resort sees an average of 300 inches of snow on its 3,000 acres, and is as well known for a pleasant lack of lift lines as for its consistently good snow conditions. When the snow melts, Whitefish Mountain Resort becomes home to thrilling Zip Line Tours and an Aerial Adventure Park along with world-class downhill and cross-country mountain biking. Located next to the Base Lodge patio are fun activities for younger kids like Spider Monkey Mountain, the Strider Bike Park, and Summer Tubing. A scenic hiking area which offers berrypicking.

This is one of my favorite all seasons playgrounds. On this particular visit it was the setting of a winter adventure. It was a perfect day to be out on the snow cat on trails in the back country. Surrounded by tall pines and towering cliff it is Montana at its finest. We finished the rides with a trip to Tally Lake, an amazing gem in the western part of the forest. Tally Lake has the distinction of being the deepest lake in Montana registering at about 500 feet. Of the many other activities available throughout the year~ hiking, boating camping and swimming are just to name a few.

I am a local and have been working out here for several years now. I don't know how this place got a negative review about being dirty and rude... It's SO clean and the staff is super helpful. I love the instructors and find that there is something for everyone here. The locker rooms have private showers, changing areas, free lockers (bring your own lock if you want to lock the door. Though I've never had anything stolen out of one when it wasn't locked), steam rooms, and a co-ed sauna and hot tub out by the lap pool. There is also an awesome kid's pool that is in a separate, closed off location that you can see from the hot tub. I take my 2 year old daughter there at least once a week and have been since she was 8 months old. There is also drop in daycare. They are so sweet and kind to my daughter and every child I have seen there. All around great for everyone.
