Treasure Trails Ltd create fun and unique ways for families and tourists to get outside and explore. Treasure Trails are treasure hunts around villages, towns and cities, suitable for grown ups, children and especially for grown up children! At the moment there are 350 Treasure Trails in locations all over the UK. The answers to the clues are located on existing monuments, buildings and structures – some are easy to find, some are fiendishly tricky! Trails are done in customers' own time and at their own pace and at only £5 per trail, it's affordable fun!
We bought our first Treasure Trail ahead of a recent day out in Broadstairs and what a bonus it turned out to be. It was an excellent way to explore the town and having to follow a route and look for answers to clues made it an interesting and enjoyable experience into the process. The questions were not overly taxing although there were a few that made you think but it did make you explore the town a little more. It suggests the route would take about two hours, which it is most likely to do, but it took us about four hours by the time we visited antique shops, art shops, coffee shops and took photos along the way! It certainly enhanced our day out and we will certainly invest in another Treasure Trail on a future day out.

Nestled in the centre of the Cornish countryside only three miles from Truro, Llama Lland is set within our 140-acre farm. This farm has been in the Tripp family for over one hundred years. Established in 2001, Llama Lland is renowned for its quality and enjoyment factor. Due to the growing popularity in Llamas and being a one of a kind business in Cornwall, Llama Lland has become a sought-after attraction for those looking for a natural experience in the beautiful countryside. The friendly, relaxed atmosphere makes Penare Farm the perfect place for a peaceful walk with our Llamas. With the surrounding hills and amazing views your experience will be fun and enjoyable!
Definitely a unique experience visiting Llama Land. After mistakenly arriving at the wrong farm 200 yards away, we called Tom who directed us to the entrance. Seems its a common issue, but one he is looking to resolve. Tom introduced himself and set out the plan for the 3 hour experience. He then led us to the main barn where the Llamas were waiting patiently. He passionately explained the names and personalities of each llama and tried to match you up for the walk with a llama that fitted your personality and confidence with handling the animals. On the lovely cross-country walk (wellies or good walking boots advised!) we were kept entertained by our own and each others llama's - as well as Tom's amusing stories! After the walk, we were taken to another section of the farm to meet the other female llamas and the baby ones, and spent some time learning about the breeding and their names and habits - Tom is clearly very passionate about what he does. After this we were led to a larger barn, which is clearly being converted into a cafe/picnic area where he had laid on sandwiches, salads, scones and other snacks - all included in the price. It was a brilliant 3 hours, and although initially we had wondered about the price tag, Tom works really hard to make sure you get value for money. It would be great to see this experience grow but hopefully also retain it's unique feel. Thanks Tom!

My Little Sweet-pea offers a lovely service for 'Mums to be'. Come to My Little Sweet-pea for a 2-3 hour bump painting session where I will transform your beautiful bump into an amazing work of art. You can have any design you can think of. I will also take photographs and email them over to you.. or I work along side some very talented photographers who can extend your session into a professional shoot. I can travel within Cornwall or you can come to mine! I also paint at baby-showers and offer discounts if I paint more than one 'Mummy to be' at at time.

Explore 1000s of historical objects from both Cornwall and the rest of the world, along with one of the county's finest art collections. Also open on Bank Holidays, and on Sundays in August.
Sadly the museum is currently closed for repair work but as they say about the V & A cafe, great cafe with rather a nice museum attached. Have been to the museum many times & the permanent collection is great as are the temporary exhibitions. Looking forward to the reopening. The cafe is on2 levels with 2 serving areas with good range of hot drinks & cakes & varied lunch menu. An additional bonus is the art shop at the back of the cafe which in addition to artists' materials has a great stock of unusual toys & games & stationery.

A beautiful building with super acoustics and a very friendly and generous clergy! I enjoyed singing there for a week with the Alleyn Singers and hopefully will get the chance to sing there again.

Brilliant experience -from point of enquiry right through. The staff were incredible - friendly, experienced and professional, and they were also really patient with all of us (we were a large family group with the youngest being 7 years old). Booking was really easy - contact via the form on the internet was responded to really quickly and Nick was friendly, helpful and patient (with my queries and questions!). On arrival we were checked in quickly, all social distancing adhered to with sanitiser readily available and measures in place to maintain safety for all. Getting kitted up was straightforward (again, everything was clean and clear processes were in place to maintain these high standards),. Instructions were clear and, again, the staff were so patient with the younger members of our group. Not only were they kind, attentive and patient on the training track, the children were well looked after when we were let loose on the main tracks, leaving the adults to confident to have a go at the intermediate track. A great time was had by all of us and I can highly recommend this activity. Thank you to Nick and the team for a fantastic afternoon.
