Public shows now permanently CLOSED. Kindly resist the urge to leave a bad review because you didn't look up trading hours first. Australian first working dog kennel open to the public for 1 hour sit down shows of law enforcement dog demonstrations and training. Visitors see training and demonstrations from protection, detection and agility dogs in an intimate experience under cover, seated behind a safety fence. There are often chances to be involved with puppy patting or helping hide training packages for the detection dogs to find. Lawdogs Australia also manages onsite the Truffle Discovery Centre Stanthorpe which includes guided tours of the Truffiere, truffle detection dog training area, truffle dog hunts, interactive gallery and tastings of truffle products. The gift shop and gallery is a foodies paradise including locally made truffle infused oils, honeys, salts, mustards and sauces as well local, regional and globally sourced artisan food products. Tastings are complimentary.
Had a great experience at the Lawdogs with both the truffle hunt and the dogs show. Really know how to share their knowledge of both with visitors and excellent service for all the staff. Very passionate about their involvement with the dogs and the treatment of rescue dogs.

We felt like a "drive in the country " day trip, rang to check if it was open, and made our way there. It was a lovely hour, seeing the beautifully restored and furnished private home, with lots of history. The owners / hosts were very friendly and helpful, and clearly had made lots of effort to dig up interesting information and artefacts. Well worth the visit and $10 fee. Bonus tip: while you're in the area, be sure to visit the "Bull & Barley Inn" at Cambooya, 30 minutes away - another unexpected delight, and fantastic menu / food.

We stayed in Stanthorpe with family to explore the Granite Belt area. I gather so named because of all the boulders and rocks in the area. It has come a long way! Great food and world class wines as well as amazing local produce. Plenty to see and do from parks to antique shops and history. Start with the visitor information centre in Stanthorpe. Lots of accommodation options as well. We chose a farm cottage near town. A great place to spend a few days.

Perhaps the best motor sport venue in the State, run and managed by a terrific group of professionals and volunteers, always friendly and helpful. A credit to the Warwick community.

This was one of my favourite spots for the weekend. Even though I am in my mid 40's, it made me feel like a kid again, exploring through the amazing rock formation that is Donnelly's castle. Its a bit of trek out of the center of Stanthorpe (20 mins approx. but is well worth the drive. There is a lookout on top which is an easy walk up a gentle slope with a few stairs onto a large granite outcrop which is fenced for safety. Even though all the other boulders you can fall off of. Bit of a laugh that. Anyway, its history is of supporting a place of bushrangers to hide out in, most notably Captain Thunderbolt (AKA Frederick Wordsworth Ward) in the mid 1800's. There is a great picnic area there, small car park, some wood fire BBQ's, a council toilet as well. It would make a great area for a visit, lunch and some exploring.

The kids will love this place - mazes, mini golf and some fun things to play with! There are three different mazes here all with varying degrees of difficulty. Plus for an extra challenge you can solve a riddle which will be provided to you on arrival. Around the property are some great little props which are fun for different photos and there is also a good little 9 hole mini golf course too. The staff are super friendly and there is a small kiosk selling drinks and snacks too. This is a great place for families to visit while in Stanthorpe.

Step through the doors and capture the magic of Christmas in our Mistletoe Boutique Christmas Store. Taste, Indulge and Enjoy our extensive range of Belgian Chocolates which are all made onsite. Enjoy marshmallow moustaches with our famous cup of Hot Chocolate. Explore and feed Santa's animals, including Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer! We are proud growers of 11,000 Real Christmas Trees.
What a lovely way to spend a morning in the week before Christmas. We met some beautiful animals and fed them. Some people were picking out a Christmas tree. There was delicious Belgian hot chocolate and the most glorious Christmas shop - full of decorations, ornaments and pressies. Great concept guys - I'll be back with kids next Christmas.

The park is located in an area in the Darling Downs Region of the Great Dividing Range about 12000m above sea level. Situated on the Granit Belt with fine winery's and culinary delights. if your a star gazer you will be delighted. Just love this place and definitely going back. We stayed in our caravan, although friends did stay in the cabins and said they were quaint and well maintained. I found the facilities extremely clean and easily accessed as I am on a scooter at the moment due to surgery. If your one for adventure or just chilling out this is the place to be. You can canoe in the dam, take leisurely strolls and check out the wild life. What a great place for a get together. The care takers of the park organised a minibus with a local driver who new the area very well. About 11 of us took the tour and saved $$$$. OMG visiting the wineries is a must do.

Enjoyed visiting the lookout to get our bearings over Stanthorpe. Also took our mountain bikes and tried one of the trails at the base of Mount Marley which were fun. Lovely place to visit.
