We have travelled all around the world and this is one of new favorite places in the world! ???????????????????????? I almost want to keep this place a secret...! This place is so relaxed, with the most beautiful beaches, corals and sea life! They have lots of amazing beach restaurants and bars to enjoy and Walking Street in the middle of the island which has everything you want! ???? To preserve the beautiful island and wildlife Koh Lipe has implemented some great environmental initiatives such as Trash Hero which is a scheme where you use reusable aluminum bottles instead of plastic and picking up rubbish. Also they close the reefs for 6 months per year to give the reef an opportunity to regenerate. With these great environmental initiatives this beautiful place will stay like this for all to enjoy for years to come! ???? ???????????????????????????????? #island life #fun #relax #sunset #beachcocktails #peachytravellers #kohlipe #thailand #snorekelling #coral #fish

This secluded beach is only accessible by boat, kayak,or a short walk on a plank walkway. The water is limpid, slow sloped, has beautiful fine white sand and rocks with a great variety of fish. Further west, you can also access two smaller" secret beaches" , great for snorkeling. Please don't spoil these places with your fag ends, picnic left overs,or bottles! There are very few places like this in the world... It is a calm, very low key beach with a moderate amount of swimmers, no music or screaming babies. There's an option for drinks and snacks at the beach, and sun loungers to rent.

Stayed on Sunrise Beach while at Lipe and loved it. It's not so touristy and noisy as Pattaya beach. Excellent views of the sunrise at around 6~6:30am. And if you head down the beach, you will reach Bulow Beach in 10-15mins, where it's the best for sunsets :)

Archipel Around Koh Lipe
Koh Adang is part of the national park of Tarutao. There are beautiful and quiet beaches with good snorkeling. You can also walk to the view point (50 minutes) where you can see a beautiful view on Koh Lipe. it’s a quite steep path so go there with shoes ( no flip flop) You can go there from Koh Lipe by taxi boat ( 10 minutes, 100 baht) just for a day or even sleep there in The camp site or in the bungalows managed by the rangers. There’s nothing on the island ( no bar, no shops) except it’s natural and wild beauty. It’s a wonderful and quiet place. i strongly recommend to go there if you are planning to stay in Koh Lipe.

Very nice little cascading limestone waterfall... if you stand directly underneath the waterfall, while it may a bit painful at times, it’s also most therapeutic... cools and calms you down Paid a THB200 fee that includes entrance to this waterfall and the Phu Pha Phet caves.

Was quite surprised by the lack of people, relaxed atmosphere and superb Beach and snorkeling possibilities. Had stayed on Ko Lipe for 4 days before I made the great journey to Sunset Beach. It took me approximately 10 min walk from Pattya Beach... Ridiculous short distances on Ko Lipe, either you walk to sunrise or Under beach.. make sure to bring your snorkeling equipment, enter the water and have a great day snorkeling with great crystal clear waters. Nice food at the beach as well. Don't forget to taste the Mojito at Banana Bar on Sunset beach..best Mojito on the Island ????

Very nice beach, avoid the part in front of monkey bar. They made fire show every night and the beach in front of this bar smelling gasoline. Where is national park? Only able to get 200 baht from the tourist? Try to don’t go to this bar as they don’t care the environment but only their business. The rest of the beach especially the two ending parts are amazing.

A lot of dogs. But just try to ignore them. Less people travelling so not very crowded. Many shops selling souvenir, handmade bags. Lots of shops accept debit and credit card. No need to bring lots of cash with u. Have halal food around also.

The owner at the Farmsuk Residence and Resort had booked ferry tickets for us. That would take us to Koh Lipe from Pak Bara. The stay included free transfer by an aircon van to the pier. It is just 10 km away from the resort. At the pier, we grabbed few fruits and local stuff for breakfast. There are plenty of shops to eat next to the pier, and also at the pier. But be there few minutes earlier so that you can check in easily before you board the boat.

We used them to travel to Koh Lipe and they offered excellent transfer service in a good speed boat. Choice them over tigerline if you can.
