Central Coast Trailrides

Some of our most popular rides explore the central coast towns of Paso Robles, Creston, Templeton, Santa Margarita and other San Luis Obispo County locations. Our rides include: •Elite Vineyard and Winery properties- Cass, Halter Ranch, Calcareous and Rava. Santa Margarita Lake. Plus, customizable rides at Private Estate Ranches. We are a complete mobile horseback riding company. All rides come with complimentary wine tasting opportunities. We are the premier horseback riding Company in SLOCAL!

We’ve done several rides with CCT, and as usual Brian and Crystal provided yet another great ride on and around the property of Cass Winery. We got to our meetup location a few minutes early and they had all horses off their trailers, saddled up, and all ready for all of us riders to arrive. They seem to know how to chose the right horse for the right rider: experienced or inexperienced, adult or kid. The ride around the winery offers some pretty spectacular views and the ride included some “technical” aspects that keeps it from being a boring “nose-to-tail, all-in-one-line” ride. If you’re looking for this kind of adventure while in the area, you can best bet you won’t be disappointed.

Love this olive oil (organic) and were in the area and toured the farm. Great experience to learn how olive oil makes it to our shelf in an organic manner as well spending time on the porch of of the owner's house tasting and learning about the history of the region. Highly recommend, esp. if you enjoy farm-to-table type of experiences.

Mission San Miguel Arcangel

This mission was founded among the Salinas Indians, who inhabited the area in the 1700's.

I had actually gone to see the San Miguel Cemetery, but realized that right across the highway there was more of the town of San Miguel. This was a beautiful mission and it was a great place for taking photos. You are free to wander arouond on your own, but they do have self-guided tours, as well as paid tours. There are brick ovens, an olive press, old wagons, a fountain and plenty of beautiful arches. They also have a nice gift shop. I actually made some purchases there. It was a gorgeous day when i went and the blue, California skies made a great backdrop for my photos.

Galaxy Theatres Atascadero

Many screens, good sounds, high-tech viewing options if you want to pay up for them, clean, no higher priced than others in this area (given you will pay insanely, absurdly high prices for concessions no matter what theater you go to anymore). $7 Tuesdays...all shows all day. Nice points club adds up quickly for free movies and concessions. Love the VIP room, 21+ year olds only, alcohol served, very comfortable seats. Went last night, sat between two very large people but was never bothered due to large seats with plenty of elbow room. Good place to see a flick!

This lake is located in town, and what a treat it is to have such a great place to stroll, run, or ride your bike surrounded by calming water. The entire walk around the lake is about a mile - but, it’s so relaxing you won’t even notice how far you’ve walked.

Estrella Warbird Air Museum

Estrella Warbirds Museum is dedicated to the restoration and preservation of military aircraft, vehicles and memorabilia of those who flew and worked in the military aviation field. Our approach, however, is not to glorify conflict but rather to make a future generation aware of the fact our way of life does not come without sacrifice. Founded over 25 years ago by two men with two airplanes and a strong desire to see an aviation museum in Paso Robles, California, little did they realize how far and how rapidly their initial dream would carry them. Today, located on over 13 acres of land, situated on the Paso Robles Municipal Airport grounds, the Estrella Warbirds Museum is one of the fastest growing non-profit museum on the west coast. The museum has become an intregral part of the Paso Robles community attracting visitors from around the world.

I have been to several museums such as this around the world and this is truly one of the best. It has a very large collection of historical documentation, transportation vehicles, war memorabilia, etc. in a very compact space and yet if feels like it goes on forever. I would definitely take the time away from wine tasting in the area to visit this great find. Seniors do get a discount and it's worth every penny even if you don't.
