Absolutely beautiful, the most amazing views omg the ocean. It was very family friendly and easy to navigate, although there were a few stairs we were still able to take our big beach cart and help each other to go up and down stairs. We saw lots of cute kangaroo families which was a bonus and was so nice to experience a rich culture of traditional aboriginal(Quandamooka) people’s home land. We took the local bus there, it took us from the ferry terminal and dropped us right to the start of the walk, we got an all day bus pass for $10 and Winnie was free. We first stopped in at cylinder beach for a swim and lunch which was really lovely clear water and a decent pocket of water to swim in that’s protected by a sand bar, so it was nice flat water to swim in. There was also a ice cream truck and a smoothie/ juice truck which was nice to know you could get something. It was a lovely day out, really enjoyed it and I’m dying to stay over there!! the Cees xx

This is a wonderful location to relax on a sunny day, especially a Sunday afternoon. There are pcinic tables or bring your own picnic blanket. You can walk out to King Island on a low tide on the sand bar. There are public amenties, fish and chip shop, a beach, childrens playground, the jetty and launch for boating. There is plenty of parking, but be warned it can get very busy as its a great location. Enjoy your visit to Wellington Point Jetty & Lookout.

The IndigiScapes Centre is Redland City Council's environment education centre. Situated on 14.5 hectares of serene natural bushland, IndigiScapes offers native botanical gardens, a native nursery, bush trails, a nature playground and café specialising in local cuisine with a bush tucker twist.
We had been before and wanted to return for lunch on the shady verandah where we could take in the gardens and bird calls. The menu has a focus on native ingredients. The granata drinks were welcome on a hot, muggy day. We each settled in to enjoy these accompanied by toasted pannini sandwiches which were delicious. We would have loved to have tried some of the freshly made cakes and sweets, but we just couldn't fit another bit in. Next time that's for sure! It's a great place to take international and interstate visitors to experience the area's fauna and flora. Would 100% recommend the place.

The Staff at Victoria Point Cineplex always go the extra mile to ensure that everyone has a great experience. The tickets and food compared to other companies are fair and good qulaity. Steve and his team should be very proud by the service they offer and we are so thankful that throughout Covid we were informed of all progress and welcomed back when restictions were lifted. Thank you VP Cineplex, you make me so proud to be my local cinema.
