A beautiful beach that is difficult to access. I found it via the foreshore path that weaves its away around the coast, sometimes rather precariously. A very quiet place but it is worth the effort to access this travel brochure beach.

Fascinating to walk through mature and young mangrove forests and to see the strange, arching roots of the big trees holding them steady in the swampy ground. The boardwalk is well maintained and there are several wide observation areas where you can rest and take photos. We couldn't complete the circular walk because of an unusually high tide and storm surge from tropical storm Pabuk in the far west of the Gulf, but the whole walk would have been good to do - passing the Frigate Prasae on the way.

Rayong Aquarium

Reviewed By Maplelagjames - Callaway, United States

While locked down for six months in Jomtien, we were always looking for day trips and after a short day at the beach as showers drove us off we headed over to Rayong and decided to take in the Aquarium. Glad we did and most interesting, and a very reasonable entry fee. While not large, it was very well laid out, and innovative as to how fish and coastal animals were displayed. It gave one a good idea of some of the Marine life on this area of the Thailand Coast. If in the area, I would put it on the to do list for sure.
