Red door sets the standard for escape room. This was my 7th red door episode and I was in the area they had a room theme I didn’t have back in OK. So check all branches! The rooms are immersive different sections and clues are interactive as containers can pop open, move, or be hidden. Make sure to use clues early and often if you are stuck for too long. Most rooms have 3 sections so try and time no longer than 20 min a section. I will continue to do any new episodes I see as a red key member. Definitely worth the time and money and great way for friends or couples to use their brains and help each other figure puzzles for an hour.

Finally found a decent park in Plano. This place almost has it all. Just missing a pond/lake, but has a creek running through it along with trails to explore the wooded area. Also has paved trails, lookout tower, and picnic pavilion. Great place to walk and enjoy nature! We visited on a Sunday and it was fairly quiet and less crowded than we expected! Even saw some wildlife roaming the wooded areas! We’ll return and hopefully it won’t be crowded then too!

We visited KidMania after finding it online when seeing an indoor activity for our children (4 & 2). The kids had a great time at the facility. The ‘maze’ playground was multiple levels high with slides and plenty of climbing. It’s even made that adults can go in it with the kids if necessary. There’s also a smaller playground specifically for kids 3 and under. There are also plenty of games and small rides priced very reasonably ($0.50-$1.00), and the opportunity to earn tickets for prizes if desired. They also offer many choices for food at good prices although we did not partake. The facility was cleaned, well-maintained and very kid-friendly. The staff working the desk was very friendly and helpful. We will return if we’re ever back in the area. Don’t miss out on this place if you have kids 10 and under, especially during the colder months.
