This beachfront residential district features many of Lima's excellent shops, restaurants, nightspots and first class hotels.
Miraflores is a wonderful part of Peru filled with wonderful restaurants and parks to see! Highly recommend visiting Love Park, the Mall on the Cliff, and Kennedy Park, all areas within walking distance. There’s also mutiple markets in the area that sell beautiful souvenirs as well.

This archaeological zone, an excellent example of pre-Colombian America, once served as the capital of the Chimu Kingdom, which reached the height of its power in the 15th century before falling under the Incas.
Ancient ruins uncovered in Peru and very interesting. Unfortunately the government does not have the money to carry on with the excavation of these sites but that have great value

Considered a masterpiece of colonial architecture, this monastery is a large complex of rooms, picturesque plazas, ornate fountains and a maze of narrow, cobblestone streets.
Beautiful monastery in Arequipa where we spent 2-3 hours just gazing at the architecture and taking in all the history and trying to understand the lives of people inside the monastery.

Located approximately 25 kilometers from the shore of Lake Titicaca, this scenic island is known for its friendly inhabitants, clear blue lake waters and distant snow-capped mountains.
I felt like at Uros every thing the locals say has been rehearsed before, some of their jokes were just for the tourists and it made me rather sad than laugh. From the uros islands, we took a 2 hour boat ride until getting to the Taquile island. From there we walked to the main square (you can definitely feel the altitude during the walk so take it easy), where you have a traditional lunch (fresh fish, french fries, rice, some vegetables). From there you can walk around a little and continue to where the boat picks you up. The circuit offers spectacular views of the lake, and you can see all the view to Bolivia. Probably one of the best things to do when in Puno, the views are impressive.

These fascinating ruins consist of huge, cylinder-shaped towers in which pre-Inca tribes buried the elite members of their community.
Probably 1.5 hours needed at a slow pace, we got a taxi from Puno for 100 soles, since we did the tour after the boat day trip and it’s well worth it, had almost the place to ourselves.

This is just awesome and a great social event --- moms, dads, children, grandmas --- young lovers and newlyweds -- it's a beautiful water and light show and it's also a grand parade of happy people enjoying a nice night out.

Mandor is a family initiative for enviromental protection located 4Km from Machu Picchu village (Aguas Calientes). This property offer well maintained trails where you can walk into biodiverse gardens enjoying, learning and at the same time contributing to the restoration and preservation of the habitat of hundreds of species of flora and fauna. The waterfall at the end of the trail is really powerful and refreshing. Mandor Valley is the best place for outdoor activities and the birdwatching hotspot near Machu Picchu. The property also offers cabins and campsite where you can stay and enjoy the most of this quiet location.
This is an interesting walk to get to from town, following the train line. The actual site is beautiful with a wide range of plants and birds/butterflies all around. The waterfalls are well worth the hike to see.

We spent most of our visit to Cusco staying near the center and we enjoyed the beautiful architecture and culture in the center of Cusco!
