Conserve Natural Forests (CNF) is a NonProfit charity foundation focused on forest restoration and wildlife conservation located outside of Pai, Northern Thailand. CNF has dedicated itself to restoring and enriching natural ecosystems through reforestation efforts as well as reproducing, rehabilitating and reintroducing endangered indigenous species populations to their native environment. A tour of our site maintains a balance between intimate time spent with endangered species on-site, the elephant(s) we are rehabilitating for release back into the wild, and education on the evolution of ecosystems and forest habitats in Thailand. Individuals who visit our site will leave with an intricate understanding of how elephants contribute to maintaining a healthy, bio-diverse ecosystem and how important it is to restore them to their natural environment to have successful reforestation efforts. Our organization maintains a focus on honesty and integrity in conjunction with our mission.
This was such a beautiful experience. Their main focus is planting trees to save our forests and environment. Jason was incredibly knowledgeable about the project and was able to answer any questions about reforestation and taking care of the pregnant elephant, Cami. The land is breathtaking, we crossed a river to watch the elephant eat tons and tons of trees in her natural habitat. My favorite part was planting a tree. It feels like a family, we were able to relax with some delicious passionfruit mojitos and home-cooked Northern Thai food :) I would definitely go back and recommend it to anyone looking for a genuine experience.

Our mini golf is totally unique, it is the only one in the world. We have a 13 hole golf course, we are surrounded by mountains and has to be one of the most beautiful settings in Pai. We play golf with bamboo clubs and tennis balls, it is really great fun game for all the family, we have nine 3 pars, 2 five pars, one 4 and one 6 par, there is a hole we call the happy ending, you get putt and if you get a hole in 1, you get two points knocked off you score.we are situated 3.5 KM from Pai airport, going the Mae Hong Son direction,we are on google maps and have got a map on TripAdvisor.we can provide you with soft drinks and beer and we grow and sell organic Roselle. We also serve food: Schnitzel and burgers, with chips and a side salad. You will also receive a cold glass of water, while you are playing and some fresh fruit when you are finished
Myself and my boyfriend visited this bamboo mini golf today on our final day in Pai. We had no idea what to expect but exceeded our expectations. The golf is a bit of competitive fun with a few different obstacles along the way. The clubs and tennis ball make for a very interesting game and I had never seen anything similar. The surrounding views of the mountains and farms are superb while they give you hats to keep the sun off your face and back. After finishing the game we met with the host and he gave us fresh banana and papaya grown on his land which was gorgeous. He gave us a lot of informations about Pai and the culture along with travel tips and places to visit next time we come back. Overall I would 10/10 recommend this to anyone visiting Pai for a fun activity while soaking in the surroundings.

Pai Seedlings Foundation is proposing courses and workshop about Permaculture, self-reliance, low technology, beekeeping, and natural building. Our main mission is to promote organic agriculture in the valley of Pai. We do it in different ways: 1) All excess crops and organic veggies are given away to the schools in Pai so the kids can eat healthy, grow big and strong 2) Workshops and courses from 1 to 4 days provide awareness, education and fun to anyone who wish to know more about Permaculture and Self-sustainability while travelling. We can travel sustainable by coming by and learn about what we do. 3) Each participant can stay on the farm surrounded by 360 degrees mountain view, far away from the city, enjoy living with the Ethics of Earth Care, People care and Fair Share. Each day starts with yoga, Qi Gong or meditation session.
Damien and Lyse have built such an incredible place in the beautiful farmlands just outside of Pai. My partner and I loved spending time with them and learning through fun and informative workshops all about the basics of permaculture, how to make our own soap and shampoo, natural building, and even what it takes to care for bees! Their approach to life-- using what the earth can give us to live in a sustainable way, taking care of ourselves, our community, and our planet-- is so inspirational. They are even working to partner with the local schools so that nearby children can enjoy/learn about organic fruits and veggies. Everyone needs to experience this place. Thank you guys for what you do, and keep up the great work!

I was there in August 2017 and hardly any other person in sight, it was tranquil and silent, an ideal place to relax for a few hours, or if you like, stay one night in one of the Bungalows available. You should definitely take a ride with one of the Bamboo rafts around the lake for 150THB per person, it is worth it. I also drove right around the lake just for photographic purpose. It is only 6 Km from Ban Rak Thai as you drive up.

A great place to take a break when travelling along the Mae Hong Son Loop. The real market town has an incredibly real morning market with even a "halal" section catering to the muslim minority community which has been a part of this area for centuries. There's also an amazing night food market held thrice weekly along the main street which is simply an asian foodie's heaven. A must visit for this area....

For the price of a donation you can enter this local farm and walk through the massive split caused by an earthquake. It's very interesting to see, and fun to walk through. We saw some pretty interesting lizards along the way. After the walk the owners kindly invite you to sit and enjoy some of their homegrown products, such as roselle juice and jam, banana and papaya, tamarind, delicious banana chips and tiger peanuts, all of which you can also buy from them. It was a very nice experience
