North Dock Ice Cream Kiosk

Reviewed By Mschoosie - Birchington, United Kingdom

You have to have an ice cream if you are at the seaside and this is definitely the place to go if you are in the area. It was a difficult choice because there were so many to choose from. I tried apple sorbet and was given a taste if the black currant and pink grapefruit ones too... delicious. They were so tasty and refreshing I had to sneak back for some more, the others had vanilla and chocolate mint chip and coffee and caramel. Enjoy

This museum was filled with interesting artefacts that explained the industry and crafts of the area. The children loved the fact that the staff put themselves out to be friendly and explain things to them; they were exceptional and made our visit fun and informative. The grounds are really lovely and there is a very nice, well maintained childrens playpark. We were amazed to find such a lovely place to visit that was totally free which was a huge bonus when so many attractions are so expensive. We would all highly recommend this place for both children and adults alike.

Odeon Cinema

Reviewed By Loevs

My friend & I visited on 25/2/2020. We went to see an early afternoon viewing of Emma. This was my first time visiting this location. Everywhere was very clean & tidy, including the toilets & the actual cinema. This film started, & within 5 minutes we had a green screen. Being the youngest there (I'm 36) I dashed out to find someone to rectify it. The staff were fantastic, very apologetic & proceeded to get it at up again. They offered us all a free Been & Jerry's ice-cream, & also free tickets to return at another time. It was a bit chilly in the cinema, & it has been on further returns. Each time I've advised them it's cold, nothing gets done. Take a coat & blanket to cover your legs.
