Very surprised at the quality of this museum. Fascinating history of the area, Neolithic to Roman. The highlight was the final surprise of Roman ruins underneath the museum building.

Gardens and Arboretum: The Domaine de Poulaines is a private garden situated in the Berry region at the heart of a village. The seat of a feudal lordship, which was part of the Barony of Gracay, the Manor of Poulaines is the last witness of an old fortified castle. Magnificent trees and boxwood surround the buildings, some of which date from the seventeenth century. For 27 years, it has been the subject of meticulous care by the current owners who have created different themed gardens on 4.5 hectares. Surrounded by 20 hectares of woods, the Domaine received the national label Jardin Remarquable in 2014. Cottages: The Gardens of Poulaines welcome you to its two prestigious cottages. NISHIKI: charming ground floor house offering 1184 ft2, with a private garden of 430 ft2, designed to accommodate 4 to 6 people. RHEUM: a 485 ft2 detached house, the cottage is comfortably designed to accommodate 2 to 4 people.
