There are a lot of great dinosaur fossils on display, not all are genuine fossils but rather copies of other fossils, but they do state on each if it is real or a copy (otherwise hard to tell) A great range of big and small, 3 that you can touch. it's all crammed into an old basketball court though so very hard to get good pictures. But still well worth it. Gift shop has a huge variety including kids toys, nice decorative stones, and drawers full of fossils for sale.

Mount Rushmore was never on my "must do" list. But it was incredible. I'm so glad we made it and watched the end-of-the-day festivities and lighting of the monument. Photos don't do it justice, and truly, it should be part of everyone's travels. It's off the beaten path (a bit) but worth it.

An 1880 Train ride is a two-hour, narrated 20-mile round trip between Hill City snd Keystone South Dakota in the beautiful Black Hills. Passengers view vistas of Harney Peak, mining encampments and participate in good old-fashioned fun. Trains follow the original route of the Chicago Burlington and Quincy Railroad laid down in the late 1880s to service the mines and mills between Hill City and Keystone. The Black Hills Central Railroad is the oldest continuously operating tour railroad in the nation and operates four steam and two diesel engines throughout the season.

I've been to a couple of chuckwagons before and the Circle B Ranch's was great! My 10-year old daughter loved the entertainment (she thought Zach was pretty cute) and my husband and I also really enjoyed it. All four of the band members were very talented and we enjoyed the corny jokes. ;) The food meat, beans, potato and applesauce were delicious. We found the biscuits to be dry and heavy though. The spice cake was good, but we didn't care for the powdered sugar on top of it. A frosting or glaze would be better. Our bellies were so full though that we didn't need dessert anyway. =) If we get back to the area, we would definitely go again. Keep up the great work!
