Unfortunately the original driver we had booked to take us to MIA from a different company had an issue with his clutch and he organised John from JLF to pick us up. I cannot rate this service better, John was very punctual, courteous and helpful. A very professional outfit from start to finish. Thank you for helping us out at such short notice.

A volunteer led theatre bringing you a range of shows including music, musicals, plays, variety, dance as well as stage school weeks.
My wife & I had tickets to see Northern Jazz Orchestra's 30th anniversary show here. We are from out of town, & unsure of what to expect. The theatre is without doubt the best provincial 'little theatre' we have attended; intimate, extremely comfortable seating, nicely ordered & maintained, & with friendly service from volunteer front of house & bar staff; reasonable selection of drinks & bar prices. Lighting & sound engineering were very good, & we will not hesitate to take up a future opportunity to visit, & only wish it was closer to home.

I took Alfie our cockapoo for a slow stroll here yesterday. It was a lovely afternoon. Excellent play grounds for the little ones and a brilliant place to dog walk and bike ride. I had a hot chocolate in the cafe and Alfie had some doggy treats

We enjoyed a lovely walk around this reservoir on Sunday morning, beautiful area. We spent 1 - 2 hours here. The car park was nearly full when we arrived (9.15 am). Parking was free. Would recommend.

Great day out at Mrs Dowsons farm! Fantastic staff, very welcoming! Always check we are having a good day and offer support with any questions we have and you can tell they really do care about the animals also about the people that are visiting the farm. Animals are great there, cared for really really well! The kids love handling them and feeding them, it's made them much more confident around animals now! We have been to a lot of farms around the area but this is by the far the best! We just keep going back this year. The Christmas experience at the farm was also fantastic!

The Museum and art gallery of Blackburn has a wide range of exhibitions, events and activities and also has collections of Japanese prints, the Hart collection of books, coins and medieval manuscripts, an award-winning South Asian gallery, the history of Blackburn, the Egyptian Mummy, Fine and Decorative Art and the Bowdler collection of world beetles. Located in the city centre this museum is free to enter and literally has something for everyone. The fine art collection is particularly excellent and of course there is a focus on Blackburn's industrial heritage, particularly on its mills and weaving. An excellent way to spend a few hours and a museum for the city to be proud of.

Not far from the centre of Blackburn this park has some beautiful garden areas and lakes. So much open areas too for those who like to play sports or just chill out on the grass.

I come her to watch the Blackburn Hawks and love how great the atmosphere is. I think we are very fortunate to have an Ice Rink and an Ice Hockey team in the town and going to watch the Hawks is a great opportunity for couples and families. It’s a great sport to watch too as it’s very fast and physical.

Kids had great fun and said its the best play center they have been too. Plenty of tables to sit at, staff were friendly and served food and hot drinks with plenty to choose from, was worth the 35 min journey to get there and will be back with the kids soon ????.

East Lancashire's only dedicated indoor Nerf Zone for children, families and adults. Take part in our tactical game modes, or just in an all out nerf war. We cater for birthday parties, school and corporate team building events. Thursday nights we hold our Nerf disco featuring UV lighting, Lazers and LED lights.
We have discovered a gem! Local, great price and super fun for all. We visited with my son and 8 of his nerf gun crazy friends for a birthday treat. We were warned about the old steep steps to enter and yes, they were old and very steep, but once we entered Dart Zone the boys loved it. Jack who works there, was welcoming, friendly and very helpful. We will definitely be returning as the boys had a 'blast' and we all give Dart Zone a huge thumbs upand all his !! Thank you to Jack and Ian for making a ten year old buddies very happy and a birthday treat to remember I'm sure.
