No, 17. Oktober 1427. The Church was built quite quickly according to medieval concepts. The choir was completed in 1451. The Foundation 90. towers in 1454. The tower itself was completed in 1490. The magnificent vault was built in 1505. However, the Catholics did not enjoy the beauty for long. Luther nailed his theses to the door of the Church in Wittenberg and the reformation began in Germany and the Church became Protestant by 1525. The Church survived the traditional three evils that threatened German churches: the Reformation, fires, and American bombers. Anabaptists not destroyed all interiors Church, the American bomb engulfed in Church 30 March 1945, but only one. It destroyed the "Steinmeyer" organ installed in 1889. For some reason, it is the organs are unlucky in this Church. A fire on 2 February 1974 destroyed the old 1610 organ. But the altar was preserved. Unfortunately, it is now under restoration and it is difficult to consider it. A mandatory item in the tourist program is a visit to the Church bell tower - Daniel's tower, which offers excellent views of the city and the crater in which the city stands.

We stopped here on the way to Schloss Neuschwanstein. An amazing and beautiful castle with a fascinating history, a wonderful place to visit in the area.

This is a pretty big church and is a must visit when in Augsburg. It has lovely Stained glasses as well as altar.

This is a lovely place to visit for everyone. It's the oldest social housing development in the world dating back to the 16th Century and was the concept of Jakob Fugger. It is still inhabited today and the people lucky enough to be allowed to live there pay 88 cents in rent and must be Catholics and willing to pray for the Fugger family. You can go into a ground floor apartment as it looks today as well as another one which looks like it did 200yrs ago. There is also a museum with lots of information about the Fugger family and a restaurant/cafe.

This Place Is Amazing..We Loved It. Views Are Out Of This World. The Air Is So Clean. Cable Cars Spooked My Daughter Abit,And It Does Get Abit Squashed ( Like 50 In A Car) Had A Bambi Burger In 2224 Nebelhorn And It Was Yummy! Would Love To Go There Again.

We stayed for one night prior to visiting Neuschwanstein Castle and found our stroll around the town square most enjoyable. It is a pedestrian zone and there are plenty of restaurants to choose from.

Very nice day tour for the whole active family. You enjoy beautiful waterfalls and nice walk. Good for people that are able to walk and climb some stairs. Beautiful scenery and if you love waterfalls you will love this one

We got a free cable car ride to the top with the rooms we were stayung at at russbach. We werent planning to go but then it worked out on the way to Salzburg. We had fun going up the small enclosed family sized cable car. Thr view is fantastic and there is a nice playgroubd on the top. The slide is really fabulous for the kids- extra long. We enjoyed our stay and made it back to the cable car in the Nick of time. Turns out they rake a break betweeb 12 and 13!! We almost got stuck for an hour on the hill...

This is one of the best manicured botanical gardens I have ever seen. When the summer flowers are in bloom, the Angelica, bleeding hearts, lupine, and roses are fabulous. If you visit in summer, make sure you leave time to just sit in this garden.
