We only stayed for a little while - in time to catch a beautiful sunset! It is apparently one of the "Go-to" spots on the Cape to watch the sun disappear into the western sky.

Beautiful strand of sand with all the amenities. Parking is steep (as most beaches on the Cape) at $20, but large lots and plentiful parking. Short walk from the lot passes by changing rooms, food trucks, picnic area, and bathrooms (port a potties).

I've lived on Cape Cod most of my life and I can uncategorically say that Rock Harbor is one of the most perfect spots for spectacular sunsets. At the beach the tide goes way out making it a perfect spot for kids who love to investigate sea life. Little fish, snails, and clam, scallop, razor clams and quahog shells abound. The sand is soft and clean. The water clear. Charter boats come in and out of the little harbor when the tide allows, filled with happy vacationing fisherman. Fun place to be before and during sunsets.
