We offer a 40 minute tour of the Silver Lake Sand Dunes. We have a vehicle that holds about 20 people that goes on a seven mile trail in the dunes. We stop at Lake Michigan or Silver Lake for a few minutes for pictures and to enjoy the view.

This is a state park along the coast of Lake Michigan located near Mears, Michigan. It includes shoreline along Lake Michigan and Silver Lake, along with many sand dunes.
We have decided in a short time to do a short vacation and result cannot been better, Silver lake is an amazing place where you can have a range of activities to choose .You can be just in peace, walk, view amazingly landscape , doing family tours , enjoying a beach or go to do radical adventures as 4x4, bugs, jet sky, boats etc. And there are also the carts and mini golf, so a plenty of activities. Again is a paradise for all kind of people that enjoy being in the nature!

Family-friendly horseback riding, riding lessons and therapeutic riding. Bringing a bit of the old west right here to West Michigan, since 1949.
We have been doing an annual ride for four years now and it is a great experience that my kids (two 9 year old girls) always look forward too. It is the highlight of our vacation. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Nancy let my girls come back another day to help groom a horse and just hang out with the horses- this was wonderful! Thank you Rainbow Ranch!!

We’ve been visiting Mears for years and this was the first time we rented a pontoon. Turned out to be the highlight of our trip! We had 11 people (5 kids.) Did a 2 hour rental with tube on a Tuesday. Could have used another hour. The lake was quite, the boat was newer and very clean, and the staff was super helpful and friendly.

Stopped for a second time after a brief stop 5 years ago. A lighthouse that looks like it belongs at OBX rather than the great lakes, it is really a pretty structure. The beach seems to be shrinking and parking is limited. There were no gate attendants the day that we went and there was no box to deposit an entrance fee. Watch your speed on the tiny twisty roads going back in, there are joggers and big rigs on what can be a 1.5 lane road.

Recently returned from weekend trip to Michigan with group of 6 nurse friends who have known each other for more than 40 years. We spent the afternoon @ Fox Barn Winery. Wine tasting was $3 for 3 tastes & most of us left with @ least one bottle of our favorites. We sat out on their beautiful deck with view of the vineyard & wooded hills on a beautiful slightly breezy September summery day. As we solved the world's problems, we shared their cheeses, meat, pickled asparagus, cream cheese/jellies, & cracker snacking tray & of course, some great wine slushies. Most of us purchased some spreads, jellies, or pickled asparagus in their cute gift shop before we left. We learned that this area of Michigan is the asparagus capital of the world...who knew?

It had been years since our last visit. We had a bit of a reunion with some of our family and we were not disappointed. We’ve enjoyed this Park for decades. It remains relaxed, well cared for, and the staff reflect the environment. The easy access to the beach and the family atmosphere remains a family favourite.

We offer wine tasting & sales at our vineyard location. Wine tasting flights served outside only. We don't have food but you are welcome to bring snacks or anything to eat. Pets welcome as long as they are on a leash.
The three of us frequent visitors to nearby Stony Lake were thrilled to find one of our favorite spots open in light of COVID-19. Greg (the owner) greeted us at the door and ensured us he was operating under CDC guidelines and would be practicing social distancing during our visit. While taste testing was unavailable due to government restrictions, Greg did a great job of thoroughly describing his wines and helping us select the perfect pairs for our dinner (the dry, full-bodied red he recommended went perfectly with our asparagus brats from Mac’s Meats!). Greg also shared his future plans for a beautiful outdoor tasting/seating area that should be perfect during the summer. If you’re in the area, Oceana Winery & Vineyard is a must visit, and you have to try the Chardonel! (one of the best Chardonnay's we’ve had).

Cherry Point Farm is one of the oldest operating farms in Oceana County, Michigan. The first orchards were planted in 1871. The Bull Family has been operating the farm since 1949 and have added a fruit market, bakery, gift shop and Lavender Labyrinth surrounding an herb garden. We offer fish boils, lumberjack breakfasts, high tea and more (reservations required for all). Open daily from April through October. Our Lavender Labyrinth and Herb Garden are free to walk during daylight hours when we are open.
This is a great little stop to make along the scenic drive of B15 (Buchanan Rd). The shop has delicious cherry treats to offer (the cherry strudel is excellent/our recommendation!) as well as an assortment of gift items and apparel. There was fresh produce out front as well for sale. We walked around the garden a bit as well, which was lovely.

Silver Lake State Park is almost 3,000-acres along the Lake Michigan shoreline. This area includes both dune country and acres of mature forest and the only sand dune off-road vehicle area in east of the Mississippi River. Our 200 site campground is the only campground in the area that is located along the shoreline of Silver Lake.
Enjoyed our one day trip had fun, lots of shops water sports!! Worth visiting we climbed to sand dunes too for amazing views
