Harrisonburg is an independent city in the Shenandoah Valley region of the Commonwealth of Virginia in the United States. As of the 2010 census, the population was 48,914, with a census-estimated 2016 population of 53,078. Harrisonburg is the county seat of the surrounding Rockingham County, although the two are separate jurisdictions. The Bureau of Economic Analysis combines the city of Harrisonburg with Rockingham County for statistical purposes into the Harrisonburg, Virginia Metropolitan Statistical Area, which has a 2011 estimated population of 126,562.

Have you gone to your local garden supply store and were shocked by the sticker price of some of the objects. Now you can go to the source - Harpers has it all and if you want it painted they do that too. Harpers it your most likely source for garden trinkets in VA and the prices are unbelievable. I willing to say if they don't have the statue you want they will make it.

White Oak Lavender and the Purple WOLF Vineyard is a year round venue. We offer wine tasting and we have a beautiful gift shop. From Memorial weekend to Labor day there are daily guided farm tours one hour after opening. Private tours and group experiences are available by reservation at any time of year. Wine tasting, Classes, Events and Self Guided tours are offered year round. We have a Discovery Area that includes viewing our domestic farm animals. It is not a zoo but our animals do love people! We have alpaca, horses, miniature horses, sheep, goat, rabbits and free range exotic hens. We do allow picnics. Our guests also enjoy our wine tasting and our lavender ice cream all year round! We spent an enjoyable afternoon at White Oak Lavender Farm playing chess, walking around the petting zoo and admiring the view. The ladies in the gift shop were sweet and informative.

My whole family enjoyed our time there looking at the beautiful flowers, the different fish in the pond, & watching the ducks and turtles swim. We enjoyed the trails and listening to the birds. Great place to get close to nature.

Court Square Theater is the premier Performing Arts and Cinema venue in downtown Harrisonburg Court Square Theater was once home to the Rockingham Motor Company (RMC), but in,1998, it was renovated into a theater as part of the Harrisonburg downtown revitalization effort. The architects that renovated the space wanted to retain some of the historic charm and you can still find RMC's name and iconic shields on the exterior and the interior of the building today. Pale Fire Brewing Co. is a production craft brewery with a beautiful Tap Room. We serve up to 10 of our beers at any time and will fill any standard size grolwer! We have plentiful indoor and outdoor seating as well as table service. A large bookcase and a fireplace add to the comfortable atmosphere. The brewery equipment is visible through large windows in the Tap Room. Come by and see us!
Nice large space, both indoors and out. Nice staff and good selection of tasty brews. I will have to return because their coming soon brews Major Tom and Clockcleaner (a galaxy ipa and triple ipa) are on my must try list.

if you love lavender then this is a must see. I was taken back all that was offered, and how beautiful the setting was. The animals, checker boards, tables outside to relax and can even bring your doggie :) Very fun. Wine was GREAT
