Escape Room Scotland is an unforgettable experience in Dundee. With 60 minutes on the clock, you and your team have to solve the puzzles, riddles and brain teasers. The goal is simple – GET OUT IN TIME. We have 4 different immersive themed rooms. Each room is suitable for 2-6 players. C.A.R.A, Black Pearl & Gold Rush are family rooms suitable for 8 years and above. There must be at least one adult as part of every room booked. Kidnapped its not for the faint hearted and is for 16 years and over ONLY.
First of all, wasn't sure about the escape room as a concept, but how wrong I was! It's genius! I thought, 60mins, how good could it really be? But it's great fun, can be quite high pressure, a laugh, difficult but satisfying and leaves you on a real high! Can't tell details of the room, cause that's a spoiler, so I won't! We did Gold Rush, which is mining helmets, gold digging, dynamite themed... You've solve the puzzles to escape the mining hatch/tunnel... We are a family of 5, 2 adults, a 13yr old, 8yr old and 5yr old and we all had fun! Some of it a wee bit tricky for he youngest, cause she couldn't reach or read, but if you keep her involved she helped where she could! It can end up quite tense, frustration can be felt bubbling inside! But we all survived and came out friends! Highly recommended to anyone that asks! If you are going as family with younger people I think Gold Rush is the best room (there is a choice of 4 rooms in total) with Cara next for families. black Pearl is good, but slightly more difficult (in our opinion) for younger families, and Saw Room is over 16's only! Go for it, you got nothing to lose, the staff are great, it's fun, exciting and you get a cool photo at the end!!!

Our rare breed farm offers a unique opportunity to meet Alpacas, Miniature Mediterranean Donkeys, Falabella Miniature Horses, Poitou Donkeys, Guanacos and often new born babies. Learn many interesting alpaca facts before choosing your favourite to enjoy a leisurely stroll in the countryside. Our Craft Barn lets you get 'hands on' with our super soft fleece and the traditional methods of processing.
Had a wonderful time with the kids walking the alpacas and meeting all the other animals. We learned a lot about all of the animals and really enjoyed ourselves. We got to choose an alpaca to walk and the kids got an activity pack at the end. There is also a little shop where the kids bought some bits at a reasonable price. It was muddy, so wellies suggested. Highly recommend a trip here and will come back the next time we are up un Scotland!

Broughty Castle sits imposingly at the mouth of the River Tay. Built in 1496 on a rocky promontory, it has faced many sieges and battles. Today, it houses fascinating displays on the life and times of Broughty Ferry, its people, the environment and the wildlife that live close by. The Castle has magnificent views over the river, and is only minutes away from Broughty Ferry Beach and Esplanade. It's a 'must-see' attraction if you're visiting Broughty Ferry, and offers something for everyone, with a changing programme of events, activities and displays.

The McManus is a magnificent Victorian, Gothic building where art, history and the environment combine to offer a fascinating insight into Dundee. The McManus: Dundee’s Art Gallery & Museum, an award-winning Victorian, Gothic building, is home to Dundee's main collection spanning 400 million years and has been at the heart of art and culture in the City since 1867. Eight beautiful open gallery spaces house facinating exhibitions of art, history and the environment, giving a fascinating insight into Dundee. Throughout the galleries visitors can learn about early man in the area, admire stunning paintings and explore artifacts from industries past and present. In addition to the permanent displays, there is a changing programme of exhibitions and events throughout the year. The retail area stocks a wide range of historical reproductions, traditional toys, books and jewellery. The welcoming café with an outdoor terrace boasts an extensive menu.
This is everything a museum should be. Full of intriguing exhibits that surprise and inform, not so big that it's overwhelming, but with plenty to see. There's something for everyone - art, local history, natural history... and the information that's provided about each item is informative. Having been to the V&A, expecting it to be the highlight of our visit to Dundee, I came away from the McManus feeling that the V&A has a lot to learn from this museum. The building is beautifu, and the cafe does good cakes. Highly recommended all round!
