The park is open everyday from 8 to 5.
Whenver we go up to Door County - whether to pick cherries or to relax on Washington Island - we almost always stop at Cave Point Park to get amazed at the way the lake pounds under the shore, creating these unique "caves" down below. It's hard to get tired watching the work of waves...

Original musicals under the stars! Northern Sky is a unique wonder-filled Door County entertainment experience – “As much a Door County tradition as homemade cherry preserves…one of the most exceptional professional troupes in the country.” (Chicago Tribune) Presenting three shows in rotating repertory outdoors at Peninsula State Park Amphitheater, June – August. Fall season moves indoors to Northern Sky’s Creative Center & Gould Theater at 9058 County Road A in Fish Creek.
I am not much into theaters and such, but my wife dragged me here. I admit it was good experience :-)

A third generation family owned and operated art gallery that opened in June, 1969, Edgewood Orchard Galleries represents over 150 artists from across North America and shows their original paintings, jewelry, sculptures, glass, furniture, wood and clay in a beautifully restored century-old barn and award-winning sculpture garden. Voted Door County's "Best Art Gallery" every year for the past decade. Open 10-5 daily, May through October.
Really enjoyed our visit(s) to Edgewood Orchard Galleries in Door County, South of Fish Creek. They really expanded their sculpture gardens and my favorite is still always the inside buildings where they added a balcony to a new gallery. So bright and such wonderful art of all types. Great jewelry! Got some treasures each visit as we had to come back the next day. This is really the “art museum” of Door County, where just looking is okay. And everyone is so friendly and helpful. Will come back next year for sure as it’s the highlight of our Door County traditions.

They both have working studios onsite where they create their one of a kind art pieces. Chad is nationally recognized for his distinct glaze style and brilliant color palette which they invite you to come to Plum Bottom to explore art in the gardens, at our countryside gallery on Plum Bottom Road or our newest location in downtown Egg Harbor! This is an amazing gem of an art gallery with paintings, sculptures, jewelry, woodwork, and many other incredible pieces by local artists. Lovely, welcoming staff. The creativity and beauty on display is well worth a visit! We will make a point of stopping here again.

The Village of Egg Harbor is coming into its own as Door County’s most popular cruising destination. It offers the best deep-water sailing access on the Peninsula. In the last few years, the Village has built a new marina, expanded and improved the public beach, and renovated Harbor View Park. The marina lies in the heart of the village, within an easy walk of many restaurants and shops.
Such a fun place to kayak. Easy put in and take out. The shore line is scenic. There is also a pretty beach here with changing room and bathroom facilities. There are many choices to get a quick bite to eat.

This park's 3,775 acres have miles of hiking and biking trails, and clean, uncrowded beaches.
Peninsula State Park is a Wisconsin treasure. Biking and hiking trails, a comfortable beach, a historic stop at the Eagle Bluff Lighthouse, serene drives and camping grounds. It is a must stop for us every single time we visit Door County.

Great history given by docent and good protocol steps for covid. Limited amount of people for tour, I believe 8. Masks required. The lighthouse is as it was at the time it was operating and you get a wonderful glimpse at how the family would have lived in that time period. Docent gave good personal stories of the family. The outside views are amazing, also and the lighthouse is iconic and picturesque. Worth the state park pass and admission price of $5.

Lovely state park with beach access near protected sand dunes. There are multiple hiking paths, all of which are hilly, past dunes and through woods or wildflower fields. Lots of birds and insects to observe. A lovely park for a walk, job or run. So Much Poison Ivy! But if you stay on the trails, you will be fine.
