A one-of-kind photo adventure with a vintage Seaside theme! All props are upside down (inverted) and hung from the ceiling, allowing for a fun interactive photo opportunity! Use your smartphone or ours, with the help of our staff take the best, fun pose in the scene of your choice, then invert it and you're now upside down!
We had a great time. Even my teenage son who hates having pictures taken of him was enjoying the experience. They did a great job during the photo shoot. Even after they went above and beyond to help us get a picture. I highly recommend

We were introduced to this place 10 years ago and made a point to come here when we returned to the area. Great food (come hungry-- generous portions), the log building/restaurant & logging equipment/collections are impressive (check out the "ridge pole" at the top of the ceiling as well as the solid-log bar in the basement) and the staff friendly (despite the fact that we showed up right before closing). Husband & son enjoyed the machinery/logging stuff; daughter & I enjoyed the fall decor/fireplaces; we all enjoyed the food. :-)

Great view of the ocean. Fun signs and statues to take pictures in front of. And mo's restaurant is right next door.

Visit Wheel Fun Rentals at Seaside’s Holladay Drive! Once you’ve selected your steed you can cruise past the Seaside Aquarium, the kite shop, the carousel, or explore the coastline. In Seaside you can be a kid again, starting on one of our unique cycles and electric vehicles. Don’t miss this unique way to explore Seaside!
Our family of 5 was going to rent a large bike. The owner said we’d do better with the smaller bike. So we got that and it was perfect. I appreciated his honesty instead of giving us something more to make more money. The bike was fun and In great shape. They cleaned it really well. They sell an annual pass which worked with the boat rental too. Overall, the kids loved it and we had a blast.

This is one of our favorite things to do in Seaside! Every evening after dinner we would head to the arcade and play games. All the arcade games are super fun, but fascination ball is our favorite. It's like a combination of ski ball and bingo and you can win great prizes too!

This is a must-do for anyone visiting Seaside. Drive around the circle, take photos at the monument, park nearby and watch the ocean. There is park bench seating surrounding the turn-around. The turn-around and monument overlook the ocean and are adjacent to the boardwalk. Broadway Street runs east and west and at the west end it's a one-way. Driving Broadway is a must too. Broadway is the main street with many small shops, some touristy and some just nice shops. The site includes public restrooms under the turn-around/statute. Not far away is the salt making site where the expedition distilled seawater for salt.

The owners have totally renovated the town's movie theater from 1941, adding wonderful, individual theater seats, each with a small tables that can be used for your order of sandwiches and salads, appetizers, mac and cheese, etc. They also have a full bar, and the place is also a microbrewery; the movie screen is kept rolled into the ceiling when not showing a flick so that you can see all of the large steel beer casks and equipment that they lined up in the back section of the stage. We had lunch there today, and our waiter said that the front section of the stage is used for concerts and bands who play there, and the area in front of the stage which has no seats is used as a dance floor. The mezzanine has scads more seats with tables and more steel beer casks. My techie husband checked out the projection room, and said that they'd installed a really expensive state-of-the art modern projector. We were so impressed with the thought and expense that went into the upgrade. We'll be going back tomorrow night to watch a movie with cocktails and dinner!

Captain Kid Amusement Park is open daily 11:00-6:00. We provide safe fun and practice strict sanitation and social distancing. Our new 18 hole mini golf course opened June 2020, and our new and much anticipated go kart track opened March 20, 2021! We have a family rollercoaster, GyroXtreme, Rock climbing wall, and kid rides, as well as the mini golf and go karts. Hope to see you at the beach!
What a fantastic time we have (always) visiting Captain Kid's!!! We have done EVERYTHING here from rides to go-karts and putt-putt golf!!! So excited to see they are working on a new putt-putt area too!!! Yay!!!???? All ages were enjoying all of the options to do, yet on a smaller scale than other amusement parks which can be overwhelming for some! Also, GREAT ice cream and cones! We'll be back next year for sure!!!

We took my niece (age 10) and nephew (age 7) here on a Tuesday not knowing what to expect. I haven't really been here since I was a teenager/college age and wasn't sure if it would be age appropriate. We loaded two cards $10 each anyway and the kids had a blast playing different types of carnival/arcade games. It did take them a long time to pick their prizes, which consisted mostly of candy since they didn't win tons of tickets.
