Snow Factor Braehead is the UK's biggest indoor Snow Slope. We offer Ski and Snowboard lessons, sledging on real snow AND indoor ice climbing on a real Ice Wall. Real Snow all year round! Apres Ski - enjoy Bar Varia - authentic Barvarian meals and a range of German beers.
Our three kids (8, 9 & 12) did rookie board camp at the end of summer holidays. They really enjoyed the experience and were fully competent on the main slope by the end of day 3! Excellent coaching by Denise, 5*. All staff very helpful and friendly.

Was out yesterday for a day of snowboarding lessons with Lucy, who was great; calm, confident and helpful. Big shout out also to Colin who went out of his way to assist on the slope, and was able to instruct on the POMA.

Delta Force Paintball West Glasgow is located just a few miles from Junction 29 of the M8, making it easily accessible to paintball players from Glasgow, Paisley, Greenock and surrounding areas. It's very close to Glasgow Airport, so much so you can see our pyramid game zone from the windows of aircraft flying in and out. Our centre has 7 action-packed game scenarios, including 2 double-decker buses, Viet Cong Village and Afghan Command posts.
Apparently its a good place - has different zones ... has food ... ! can be muddy so take sturdy shoes !

Our kids loved it! Robyn, their instructor was fab! Really friendly, smily, supportive and great with our kids, especially when our younger one was too afraid of doing the drop zone. We originally booked for the skypark - as it was really quiet, they were offer a shot of the drop zone and climbing for the last 10 minutes of their allocated time. Our, younger one was really afraid at the beginning, but within minutes, she was loving it! Robyn played a big part in that, thanks. Would definitely recommend it. The kids wanted to go again, so we are here for a second visit! I am writing this positive review while they are up enjoying themselves again.

Snow Factor Braehead, Scotland's only indoor real snow facility, makes Glasgow the latest uber cool 'ice-bar' destination with our own 'Baltic' venue. The first of its kind and certainly the coolest bar in Scotland, serving a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic concoctions chilled to perfection. Visitors will discover the walls, bar, tables and even the glasses are made of ice!
Had a great afternoon at ice bar, what a cool place. Jamie was fantastic and explained everything then made us great cocktails. Live locally and never been, should be experienced for sure, it’s fabulous

The Sma' Shot Cottages are a major attraction in the Renfrewshire area, providing visitors with an insight into two distinct periods of Paisley's weaving history. Come along and join us in our tea room, where we serve beverages and homemade goods and share stories of the past. We are open April-September, every Wednesday and Saturday 12pm-4pm and Fridays 1-5pm. Group/private tours can be arranged on request. Sma' Shot Cottages are owned and run by the Old Paisley Society, a registered charity. Admission is free, however, all donations towards the upkeep of the cottages are gratefully accepted.
If you want to know more about how the weavers lived and worked in the textile industry in Paisley, this is the place to go. The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. My friends son was allowed to ring the giant bell in the courtyard. Great tearoom too.

The Town Hall stands check by jowl with the much older (if reconstructed) Paisley Abbey, a gift to the town from the Clarke family, who had made their money in the cotton thread industry for which Paisley was famous in Victorian times. It is an imposing edifice in classical style and offers public rooms of various size for shows, exhibitions, receptions etc
