So peaceful and calming. Great place for photography especially the blue hour. Managed to see a fox around which stared at us quietly and disappeared into the woods. Really loved the visit. Worth it .The train ride up was really cute too .

It doesn´t matter whether you want to spend your 2-month-long holiday in Slovakia or you are coming here just for a 1-day business trip. Me and my services will always match your requirements. Tell me about your ideas and I will create a tailored schedule for you. Do you need only transportation? I will be your personal driver. My name is Branislav A. Svorc (Branio/Brian) and I am a travel consultant, tour guide and young entrepreneur in tourism and concierge services in Central Europe. Since 2006 I have held licence to guide people and to work in tourism. Since then I have accompanied dozens of satisfied clients and have driven many hundreds of kilometers. I keep working hard on improving my knowledge. In 2014 I finished my dissertation and got Ph.D. (Management of Tourism and Hotel Management).

The city hall has an amazing museum inside. For 5 EUR, you can see 3 places around the main square, definitely worth it.

Went from Poland to spend half day in this castle, with my family. Really worth the visit. Well organised, explained and nice historical place. Kids enjoyed a lot. Views from the tower, are really enjoyable. Located in the outskirts of Stara Lubovna, 15km away from the Polish border. In the same complex, there is also a Skansen (place reproducing how people were living centuries ago). With the same ticket, you have access to all: castle & Skansen. Will probably come back to have also a walk in Stara Lubovna as we had to come back and could not do so.

New exhibition of Nestville Park is a unique project reviving the tourist industry of the northern Spis region. Its aim is to depict and show its visitors the history, traditional crafts, exceptional skillfulness of people living in this territory as well as tools used in individual time periods. These eras and artifacts are gradually displayed in separate parts of the exhibition. The picturesque village of Hniezdne is located only 3.1 miles to the west of Stara Lubovna. This village was first mentioned in writing in 1286, and in the past, it was the smallest royal town of the contemporary Hungary and it was granted an off-license.
The taberna is amazing, with excellent pasta and hambúrguer and beautiful place. The chocolate factory is amazing with great cakes and good chocolates. And the store has really good options, like yogurt and cheese.
